China: Chinese driver narrowly escaped after truck tyre exploded during highway overtake.

Yueyang, China - April 11, 2026 This is the shocking moment that a Chinese driver lost control of a car after a truck’s front tyre suddenly exploded while the vehicle was overtaking on a highway. On April 12, 2026, in Yueyang, Hunan, the video captured a sedan travelling in the far left lane of an expressway as it attempted to overtake a large cargo truck. Just as the smaller vehicle drew level with the truck, the truck’s left front tyre suddenly burst without warning. The powerful blowout appeared to send debris and strong air pressure toward the passing car, leaving the driver with little time to react. The sedan quickly swerved across multiple lanes in an attempt to avoid a collision. Within seconds, the vehicle lost stability and slid toward the far right side of the highway before crashing into the roadside barrier. The video ended with the damaged sedan stopped beside the guardrail as surrounding traffic gradually returned to normal.
