Chamdo, China - June 19, 2026 This is the terrifying moment that a Chinese driver narrowly escaped a powerful mudslide after stopping to clear rocks from a mountain road. On June 20, 2026, in Chamdo, Tibet Autonomous Region, the video captured the man driving along a winding mountain road when he noticed several loose rocks scattered across the route ahead. He stopped his vehicle, stepped onto the road and removed the stones to make the route passable. After clearing the obstruction, he returned to the vehicle and continued driving. However, only moments after the car moved several metres forward, a large mudslide suddenly surged down the mountainside. Mud, rocks and debris rushed across the exact section of road where the vehicle had just been parked. The video ended with the man quickly reversing his vehicle and narrowly avoiding the mudslide as rocks and mud rushed across the road ahead.
