Berlin, Germany - July 25, 2026 Participants take part in the 48th Berlin Christopher Street Day Pride Parade in Berlin, Germany, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Hundreds of thousands of people filled streets across the German capital as the parade moved from Leipziger Strasse through central Berlin toward the Victory Column. Held under the motto Haltung ist hot, meaning Taking a Stand Is Hot, the demonstration combined colorful celebrations with political calls for LGBTQ rights, equal treatment, democratic values and stronger protection from hate crimes and discrimination. Organizers warned that queer communities are facing growing hostility and political pressure in Germany and other countries, while participants carried rainbow flags, banners and signs calling for visibility, freedom and solidarity. The annual Berlin Pride parade, one of the largest LGBTQ demonstrations in Europe, included dozens of decorated vehicles, walking groups, activists, political representatives and community organizations.
