Storyline China's audio exports tune up China makes over 80 percent of the world's audio equipment, and as the winter holiday season nears, it’s the busiest time of year for China’s audio equipment exports. At this acoustic factory in Huizhou in south China’s Guangdong, production has been amped up. Forklifts weave through the yard with palettes of audio gear that will be loaded for deliveries. The factory’s manager says orders began to pick up in H2, with their monthly output constantly reaching new highs. Yang Haijing, Factory Manager, Tymphany Acoustic Technology (Huizhou) Co,.LTD: "Orders for the second half of the year have increased significantly compared to the same period of last year. We ship out about 25 to 30 containers in a day, and at peak times, that number goes up to 30 to 45 containers daily.” In the audio industry, Q3 is often peak production season, as overseas customers begin their holiday shopping.
