China: China ships more baking equipment abroad.

Storyline China ships more baking equipment abroad Chinese cooking appliances, both domestic and industrial, are seeing a surge in exports, customs data shows. From January to April this year, China exported about 560 U.S. dollars in baking equipment. In southern China's Foshan, exports of small electric ovens saw a 40 percent increase this year, in part thanks to companies customizing their products to meet the demands of foreign markets. These ovens,for example, can fit four slices of toast, catering to the breakfast habits of the Japanese. Liang Kefeng, Marketing manager, hardware and electric appliance products factory: "Japan's annual oven sales are about 3 million units. And we account for around 1 million of those." China's firms that make full-line solutions for food companies are also expanding their business presence in overseas markets through technological breakthroughs and agile adaptability. Argentine Buyer: "[It's] the first time that we see the machine and that is beautiful. The material, the color is impressive."
