When I was in high school, there always used to be that one guy that would walk in front of the group that would be very confident
0:07
And if he went somewhere, he would just boldly go there and he would pay no mind if anyone would follow him
0:15
But of course, everyone would always follow that guy. And I always wanted to be like that guy
0:23
His name was Thomas. And he really was a role model for me
0:27
He also was one of my bullies back then. I believe that being that guy who leads the group leads to a better life inevitably and that it will lead to higher threshold and a better future life even after you exit that group
0:47
So today I'm going to teach you how to become a leader type of person
0:50
We're going to have a couple commandments that I'm going to list to you
0:55
It's going to be about five commandments. And we're gonna talk about all of them in this video
1:00
They are in order, so you will achieve the first one. Then you will start to achieve the second one
1:06
and the third one, then the fourth one, and then finally the big fifth one
1:11
And we're gonna start with the first commandment right in, because I don't like these YouTubers
1:15
and have long intros that are proper like edited and stuff. And you just never get to the point
1:22
So we're gonna get to the first one, which is to develop discipline
1:27
Discipline is the core driver of everything. You have to have discipline
1:33
And discipline has two things. Discipline has, first of all, the discipline to do
1:38
so the discipline to get to the gym, the discipline to go workout, the discipline to go
1:43
the hard thing. And the second way of discipline is doing the easy thing
1:48
This is when you are at my level, when you've genuinely done almost all the hard things
1:53
that there are to do physically. You've trained hard, ran a marathon or some long distance run
2:01
you've done other things that are physically very hard. And now it's a challenge for you to do a thing like go to the club
2:09
right, things that are easy for other people. Or other people would think like, that challenges you
2:13
And those 10 sets of sport don't? Yes, it does. And I'm currently working on fulfilling that exact challenge
2:20
that I'm telling you right now. I want to go into the club in the next couple weeks
2:25
and want to see how it is. I'll probably make a video about that, film a little bit in there if I can and I'll tell you how it was
2:33
So that's the second type of discipline, which is challenging yourself. And you first have to do for a long, long, long period of time before you can do the easy things that now challenge you
2:45
Watching a movie would challenge me because I would be bored. I would think like, hey man, I want to go work
2:52
I want to go work out. I want to do this productive thing. But then I'm always thinking like I want to spend time with my family because the easy thing is now actually more challenging because I have this argument in my mind
3:03
But why are you doing it for other people? They probably don't even care That much as you do and you should just go work and all these things and then this discipline for me to continue doing that thing for my family because I want them to recognize that they don't
3:20
mean nothing to me right and Discipline has these two ways, but you have to do the first one before you can do the second one, obviously
3:30
Now to the second point, which is ego. Ego is always built on discipline
3:36
Ego isn't to think that you will always win. Ego can be the opposite
3:42
But ego is always bound to discipline. If you say, I have an ego, what you are in effect saying is that you think you can be better than me and anything I choose
3:54
If I just give you enough time and enough practice hours. So you're basically saying that discipline isn't a metric anymore for you
4:03
and that just time matters, that you just need the time to do it, and that doing it itself will not bother you in any way not with your strength not with your discipline not with anything else right So you first have to build the discipline and you have to prove your discipline often enough for you to really believe that Of course you can say those things right now but I really truly
4:24
believe that I will be better than anyone in this world if I just get enough time on the thing
4:29
they want me to be better at than them. I could learn to ice skate and be better than the best
4:37
ice skater if you give me the same amount of practice time as him, I will be better than him
4:42
in a couple years. And that's ego. Ego is bound to discipline, so you have to develop discipline
4:49
first and prove discipline to yourself, not to other people, to yourself. And then you have
4:56
discipline and then you have ego. Because with discipline, there is ego. Because when you have
5:01
discipline and you will prove that discipline to yourself, then you will know what you are capable
5:07
And that's basically confidence and confidence will lead to ego if you have confidence for long enough
5:15
Now to the third thing, which is humility. Humility isn't accepting failure
5:20
Many people think that humility is something bad because you are essentially accepting failure for something that you can't change anymore
5:28
And humility is actually something very different. Humility is sitting there thinking, okay, I've lost
5:34
What did I do wrong? And at an advanced level, humility is, okay, I've won, I have won, I did something good
5:42
What could I have done better? That is humility. Humility is the athlete who sits in the office after the game that he's just won, 42 to 0
5:53
And he's still yzing. I could have made that catch. I could have not thrown that interception
5:59
I could have blocked that guy. I could have tackled him harder
6:03
I could have flexed this muscle when I was posing. I could have done all these things that I didn't do that would have made me even better
6:10
And he slowly eliminates those things, which is also bound to ego because his ego pushes him to be better because he wants to be better because of his ego and his discipline, lets him achieve that
6:21
Do you see how all these things build up on each other? You cannot build a second level when you don't even build the first one
6:28
It'll just fall down. So discipline is the basement. It's just the thing that you need to build first regardless
6:35
of what you want you do. Then you need to build an ego, then humility
6:39
and yze even your wins. yzing your failures, everyone can't. After you've just lost and got your ass kicked
6:48
everyone will be in the office watching film of the last game
6:53
Everyone will do that. But who will sit there when you want high
6:59
and sit there, oh, I could have done that cat, you could have done this better
7:04
who will do this? That is humility, my friend. The fourth thing is strength
7:11
And I don't mean physical strength that also comes with it, but I mean mental strength and physical strength
7:18
I mean those two things combine because there's two ways to achieve those both things
7:22
You can use physical strength or physical activity to develop mental strength
7:27
and you can develop or you can use mental activities to increase physical power
7:38
The activity for building mental strength for physical activity obviously is training
7:44
But how do you actually train for your mind? There is a training program that I have linked
7:49
in the description below that you can click on right now that I made specifically for this video
7:54
that is high volume, high intensity, every single set in there to failure
7:59
So you're going to do that if you want to train your mind with your body
8:04
It's essentially that your body is the weight and your mind is the muscle
8:08
You're lifting the weight to make the muscle grow. The second commandment of strength
8:14
of building physical strength through mental activities, is done through meditation. I linked a great meditation app in the description below It is Medito I will explain everything to you There are guided courses on there I been meditating with it for the past two years Unfortunately we not a partner of them I don have an affiliate code to them It just an unpaid link where you can go to their website
8:40
download their app, and it's just a great meditation app that I have always come back to
8:46
Of course, time and time and again, I've used different apps just to try them, but I've always
8:53
always came back to Medito just because it's the best meditation that's out there
8:59
And that's also the app that I use when I started to meditate
9:03
So you can either build mental strength with physical activity, which is the high rep, high volume, high intensity, training program that I've put in the description
9:12
Or you can meditate and build physical strength, aka pain and stress tolerance, which all comes from meditation, which are benefits of focusing on your breath
9:22
And I'll tell you more of that in a second. And that is then training your body with your mind
9:28
Then your mind is the weight and your body is the muscle
9:33
You're lifting up your mind. You are training with your mind. You're training your body
9:40
Your mind is the treadmill. Your body is no longer. An additional benefit to meditation is pain tolerance, stress tolerance
9:50
and connection between. your mind and your body. You see your mind isn't a thing that is in here
9:56
although I've pointed on my head when I said mind. It's not in here
10:01
Your mind is everywhere. And I've explained this better in a video
10:05
that is called Master Your Mind. I'll link it in the info card above
10:10
And there I have essentially explained that your mind is connected to your body
10:17
with your breath and your mind is basically everything that you put your attention
10:22
on. If you are on Instagram, your mind is on Instagram. If you are with a girl, your mind is
10:27
with the girl. Your mind is where your attention is. And if you focus on your breath, your mind
10:33
and your body are connected. So focus on your breath. And pain tolerance will build up
10:39
stress tolerance will build up, and your mind will be better connected to your body and your
10:45
body will be better connected to your mind. It's just the way it is. Now to the fifth, the fifth
10:52
thing which is belief. I don't care which religion you are. Seriously. Every religion, every
11:01
person who is on a religion, in my opinion, is my friend because he believes in the God
11:07
And at its core, every God wants you to do better for your next one. I'm personally Christian
11:16
but I don't care which religion you are. You could be Muslim. You could be a Jew
11:22
It could be something else. But just believing in something, it humbles you, and it tells you there is something bigger than me that put me on this path and that uses me to achieve greatness in this world
11:35
And just praying to someone that's bigger than you will humble you and that will also help with the humility thing
11:43
And there are a couple faith-building things that I recommend for you, which I will tell you in the second
11:49
But first of all, you need to know that all these things here that you have learned today will not work without implementation
11:58
You have to implement all these things because regardless of how much you learn, if you don't do anything, your learning was a waste of time to implement these things as good as you can here right now today
12:09
Think about a way in which you can implement the commandments that I told you today
12:15
There are two faith building things. First of all, it is reading the word of your God
12:21
So for Muslims, this would be the Quran. For Jews, this would be the Jewish Bible
12:30
I don't know how you actually call it. I have a name which is called like Shola in my mind right now but it probably wrong And for Christians of course it would be the Bible the Old and New Testament And also a thing is to look for the support of God in your life It to look when your life
12:52
could or even should have failed, when you should have died in some accident where something
12:58
bad should have happened or could have happened and it didn't happen. Just look for those moments
13:03
and believe that they happen because God was with you in those moments
13:08
that will definitely strengthen your belief in your God. Now, the fifth commandment is being bold
13:18
As a leader, you have to be bold. If you aren't bold, you cannot leave people
13:25
If you take one of these commandments out, you will not be able to lead people
13:29
because you will either have no example or not the discipline or not the humility
13:36
or not all the things that I told you today that discipline that I'm sorry that leadership
13:42
needs and boldness is probably the most important thing and I'm a YouTuber of course I'm telling you
13:48
the most important thing in the end to get your watch time right I'm sorry
13:54
boldness is important it's the guy who walks in front of the group
13:59
who doesn't care if people follow him It's the guy who will walk anywhere where he desires and if people follow him, fine, if they don't, fine
14:10
He doesn't care about the people. He is bold. He will get where he needs to go and he will be bold regardless of what happens
14:19
I have noticed this. When I went into my new class, I went in there with the mindset I want to be bold and I immediately became something everyone knows and everyone kind of
14:32
of respects right respects in the amount that I want them to respect me so boldness is very
14:41
important and you need to find some habit for boldness I would recommend doing
14:47
freestyle workouts you can use the the workout in the description to start but if
14:52
you've developed a sense of okay I could do more than go freestyle absolutely
14:56
go freestyle go do something go just throw yourself in there because if you
15:02
of boldness if I tell you show me boldness what will you do you will jump in a in a cold
15:08
pool or you will do something bold like parachute jumping and if you just jump into a random
15:14
workout and you're bold enough to do it you will develop boldness my friend if you just
15:21
throw yourself in a fire and just go with the attitude spray and pray right just just just
15:30
just make it go right, just look for the challenge and when a challenge rises, solve it
15:35
and then wait for the next challenge to occur that's boldness, just putting yourself in a circle
15:40
in an event, on a routine and just encounter the challenges one by one
15:49
So those are the five commandments of being a leader. Without these, we cannot be a good leader
15:57
I don't see anything that you could subtract from this list that would still leave you being a great leader
16:11
if you have an additional commandment to being a leader please help one of your brothers and write it in the comments
16:18
if you're looking for more commandments because you think well for this and that and this guy does this
16:25
just look in the comments and it will be answered them. Have a nice day. Have a sunny day. It's spring. Get out. Touch dress. And master your mind
