Here we have three pressure
0:01
transmitters. Back side we have a
0:04
pipeline.
0:05
On the pipeline we have tapping points.
0:08
See, this is the pipeline and we are
0:11
measuring the pressure inside this
0:13
pipeline. For that purpose there is a
0:15
tapping point
0:17
and using impulse lines, these are the
0:20
impulse tubes, this pressure is
0:22
connected to the instrument. Inside
0:25
there is a pressure sensor and it
0:27
calculates the pressure signal and then
0:30
transmitter sends the signal to the DCS
0:33
system using 4 to 20 milliamp basic
0:36
current signals. All these instruments
0:39
are protocol supported for the
0:41
configuration. All instruments will be
0:43
configured by using HART communicator as
0:46
per their design or as per their data
0:50
sheet. And this is a flow transmitter DP
0:52
type. If you see, all these signals are
0:55
carried out using one pair cable. We
0:59
will call this cable cable as branch
1:01
cable. These cables will go to one
1:04
junction box installed in the field and
1:07
from the junction box one more cable
1:09
will go to the control room to carry
1:12
these signals.
