Kanye West has taken out a full-page advert in The Wall Street Journal to apologize for his antisemitic behavior. "I am not a Nazi or an antisemite," he wrote. "I love Jewish people." In a letter titled ‘To Those I've Hurt,’ West attributed his actions to bipolar-1 disorder, which he developed from an undiagnosed frontal-lobe injury.  Despite apologizing to the Jewish community in 2023, West started selling swastika T-shirts in February 2025 and later released a song called ‘Heil Hitler.’ "One of the difficult aspects of having bipolar type-1 are the disconnected moments," he wrote, adding that he regrets his "poor judgment.” West traced his condition back to a 2002 car accident. "The deeper injury, the one inside my skull, went unnoticed," he wrote. His brain injury wasn't diagnosed until 2023. The rapper also apologized to the Black community for previously suggesting that slavery was "a choice." "I'm not asking for sympathy, or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness," West concluded.
