Woodturning - One For The Whisky Lovers!

In this week’s woodturning video and I will take a small bottle Maker’s Mark whisky bottle onto a spin on my woodturning lathe to transform it into an egg. This was commissioned by a Whisky collector and this egg will be proudly displayed on his whisky cabinet. I used my favourite wood, Australian mallee burl and slightly tinted epoxy resin. Finished with several layers of clear gloss lacquer.
