Woodturning - Blue Golf Ball Cup

In this week’s woodturning video I will take some of my golf balls to transform them into something very unique. First I had to cast them in deep pour epoxy resin then added a tiny amount of mica powder in the resin to further enhance its look. After one week of curing, it was ready to go on the woodturning lathe. Finished up to high grit sanding and applied several layers of clear gloss lacquer finish.
