Woodturning - Lego Ornamental Piece

This week’s woodturning video is certainly an epic piece commissioned by a father cast his son favourite Lego piece into resin so it can be display in his room. I have used olive wood and my go to deep pour epoxy resin with a tiny amount of tint to cast this blank. After curing it was time to go on the lathe to begin shaping and sanding. I was then eventually finished with layers of clear gloss lacquer.
