0:00
hello and welcome my name is heaven and
0:02
today I have a Christmas gift haul for
0:05
you guys I'm going to be showing you
0:07
guys everything that I got my kid for
0:08
Christmas this year 2023 everything I'm
0:11
showing you all will be gender neutral
0:14
monor friendly as well as some really
0:16
adorable options I'm also going to be
0:18
sharing prices with you guys letting you
0:20
guys know where I got everything so that
0:21
if you want to get some of these gifts
0:23
and check them out too it'll be linked
0:25
Down Below in the description box for
0:26
you and you can check to see if any of
0:28
these gifts are going to be on on sale
0:30
for Black Friday this year if you are
0:32
new here my name is heaven I am a
0:35
stayhome mom wife and Homemaker and here
0:38
on this channel I create motherhood and
0:41
homemaking content so of course if you
0:43
are looking for some homemaking
0:44
inspiration or some motherhood
0:45
motivation I would love for you to
0:47
subscribe to my channel I post once or
0:50
twice weekly and I would absolutely love
0:52
to have you here but let's go ahead and
0:54
get into today's Christmas gift haul all
0:56
right first up is this really heavy
0:59
wooden wooden train play table set this
1:03
is what it looks like and this wooden
1:07
table set can either be for a wooden
1:09
train set or you can use it for building
1:11
blocks so here it's just showing you
1:14
guys that you can use this table to play
1:17
with like your wooden train set and it
1:19
has all the little spaces that you would
1:21
build the train set it has all of the
1:23
little stations as well as all of the
1:25
wooden vehicles but then you can also
1:27
incorporate some that your child may
1:29
already have and then here it also has a
1:32
block table for like Legos or Duplo
1:35
blocks number blocks and things like
1:37
that where your little one can have a
1:38
nice canvas to build things on and then
1:41
it also comes with the banss and it is
1:44
her ages three and up it does tell you
1:46
that it comes with small parts so it's a
1:48
choking hazard and that is why it's for
1:49
ages three and up we personally do not
1:52
use Lego blocks instead we use Duplo
1:54
blocks because those are not a choking
1:56
hazard because our 4-year-old would
1:58
still try to put those Lego BL in his
2:00
well so again this is gender neutral and
2:03
I got this one from Amazon and you guys
2:05
are going to see the price for this one
2:06
up in the top left hand corner next is
2:10
this wooden tool bench and this one is
2:13
for age of 36 months in up it promotes
2:16
logical thinking hand eye coordination
2:19
color recognition as well as motor
2:22
skills and ability so this wooden bench
2:24
is super adorable it allows your kids to
2:26
pretend play around the house like they
2:28
are fixing things and Building Things
2:30
which my little one loves to do when he
2:31
sees my husband doing but it also has
2:33
little pieces that allows you to make
2:36
mechanisms like make vehicles or make
2:39
different types of like robots like for
2:41
instance this one here vehicle looking
2:44
thing that they have so it allows your
2:46
little one to build things as well as
2:48
have like a little work bench so I think
2:51
this is really nice even for my
2:52
4-year-old this one is also ages three
2:55
and up and I think that this would be
2:56
fun for both a girl or a boy I got this
2:59
one from Amazon 2 next up also for ages
3:02
three and up is this doctor play set
3:05
it's healthy it promotes imagination
3:08
good habits cooperation and all of those
3:11
good things it's a wooden set it also
3:13
has a few like metal pieces so it will
3:15
be durable and last a lot longer than
3:18
the plastic doctor PL it helps them to
3:20
be caring and empathetic to learn
3:22
responsibility to help others and again
3:25
it's good for speech development as well
3:28
because you can talk through them AR
3:30
play and teach them how to have
3:31
conversation from a very early age of
3:33
course you want to go by the
3:34
manufacturer's Direction but I remember
3:36
my little one was playing with Doctor
3:38
sets as early as one years old things
3:40
that they can peel off or pull apart is
3:42
what I'm thinking so for instance like
3:44
the ends of the stethoscope like the
3:47
earbud piece things like that you might
3:49
want to be a little bit more careful
3:50
with if you're using this for a child up
3:52
under the age of three or just be safe
3:54
and do this for three and another this
3:56
next gift here is also extremely heavy
3:58
to lift
4:00
and it also doesn't have like another
4:02
box that it is inside of besides this
4:06
box so I can't actually open it up to
4:08
show it to you guys but I'm going to
4:10
leave a screenshot up for you guys to
4:12
kind of see exactly what this is this is
4:14
a PAW Patrol Adventure Bay play table
4:17
all of these pieces are durable in
4:19
wooden pieces as well but there are a
4:21
lot of pieces and a lot of them are
4:23
small so this one is for ages three and
4:26
up but because of the durability and the
4:29
wooden Play Pieces the imaginative
4:32
aspect of it it is also mat friendly and
4:35
of course gender neutral because Paw
4:37
Patrol is for both girls and boys and I
4:39
don't know about you guys but my little
4:40
one absolutely love Paw Patrol so again
4:44
look at the screenshot that is up on the
4:46
screen so that you guys can see what
4:49
this is looking like and I actually got
4:51
this one from walmart.com they have it
4:54
on Amazon as well but I believe that
4:57
when I got it from Walmart it was
4:58
available to get to me a lot sooner so
5:01
my little one was watching this and he
5:03
asked for it and it was super expensive
5:05
Walmart had it for almost half off when
5:08
I got it so I had to make sure that I
5:11
went ahead and got this one for him when
5:12
it went on sale because he has been
5:14
asking for this probably for the past
5:16
year now so I think he'll be happy to
5:18
have this one super heavy so I'm going
5:20
to slide this back into the corner of my
5:23
closet this next one is by Melissa and
5:25
dug kidcraft Melissa and dug moner
5:30
those are typically the type of gifts
5:32
that I like to shop for because I like
5:34
the durability of Melissa and Doug as
5:36
well as kid craft and I like that they
5:38
last long enough that you can pass it
5:40
down to a future child and it has a lot
5:42
of different type of uses for it not
5:45
just for pretend play or imagination but
5:47
also teaches like logical thinking and
5:49
you know all of that stuff so there's
5:51
Melissa and duck Paw Patrol truck comes
5:55
with 33 pieces it is a wooden ABC black
5:58
truck that he was asking for when we
6:01
went to the store so I found this one on
6:03
Amazon for $20 half off of the price
6:06
that it was inside of the store this was
6:08
before any of the Black Friday deals and
6:11
so since I knew he had wanted it he's
6:13
been seeing it multiple times and asking
6:15
for it so whenever throughout the year
6:17
my little one asked for gifts I added to
6:20
a cart on Amazon so that at the end of
6:22
the year I know everything that he asks
6:24
for and then I can go ahead and get that
6:26
for him for Christmas I don't get him
6:29
the 20 he asks for right away my husband
6:31
he's the one who buys toys all year long
6:33
I do not buy toys all year long unless I
6:36
feel like it's a need for like learning
6:38
purposes or it's a birthday or Easter or
6:41
Valentine's Day things like that
6:43
otherwise I take into account everything
6:46
that he's asking for ask him to a list
6:48
and then I get that for him around
6:50
Christmas time if he is still into it so
6:52
if he's been asking for over the past
6:54
year then I would assume that it's
6:55
something that he really wants and it's
6:57
not just an impulsive type of one and
7:00
again it was only $20 on Amazon this
7:03
next one is not very mon story friendly
7:05
but because my little one loves Paw
7:07
Patrol and he has been asking for this
7:10
specific one for a while I went ahead
7:12
and got it for him this is Rubble in he
7:16
loves construction vehicles bulldozers
7:18
all of those things this one makes noise
7:22
so if you're one of those parents who
7:24
does not want anything that makes noise
7:26
in your house then stare clear of this
7:28
one he has all of the like regular size
7:30
or smaller like Paw Patrol vehicles but
7:33
every once in while he wants like the
7:34
bigger one so he has a smaller one but
7:36
he didn't have this sized one this one
7:39
was like $50 compared to the smaller
7:42
ones that were only like $20 $30 so this
7:45
one have to be for me specifically a
7:47
special occasion type of toy not a just
7:50
go to the store and grab toy so I've
7:52
been saving this for for him $40 opposed
7:54
to the $50 but this is for ages three
7:57
and up because it does have small parts
8:00
and just by looking at it it's not mon
8:03
friendly it's not wooden it looks like
8:04
some pieces could very easily come off
8:07
so three and up for this one 100% for
8:10
sure but absolutely adorable if your
8:11
little one loves Paw Patrol this would
8:14
be great to add to their collection this
8:16
is what I meant when I said like these
8:17
ones here are a lot cheaper and these
8:19
are the ones that we had originally been
8:21
getting him this one is the one that I
8:24
when I say like they were a little bit
8:25
cheaper not the $50 ones this is a
8:27
regular size one but this one he hadn't
8:30
been able to find inside of the stores
8:32
and we would go so I went online and
8:33
searched for it and found this one from
8:35
Amazon for him and since he'd been
8:37
asking for it for so many months I went
8:39
ahead and added this one to his
8:40
Christmas list as well so another Paw
8:43
Patrol toy that's his thing right now
8:45
Pap Patrol again do gender neutral they
8:47
have girl pups boy pups all the
8:50
different type of vehicles so another
8:52
really great gift now if you are a
8:54
parent who buys specifically like
8:56
educational toys then you guys are going
8:59
to kind of like Melissa and duck another
9:01
one that has toys that's similar to the
9:03
on that you would get from like love
9:04
every is Hearth and hands or he and
9:08
hands I think is the name of it at
9:09
Target they have some really adorable
9:12
gifts that resemble the ones that you
9:14
can get from love every but you can you
9:16
know get them from a department store
9:18
they have a lot more options for like
9:20
multiple ages he and hand but of course
9:23
Melissa and Doug as well so this one is
9:25
the turn and tail clock I got him this
9:28
one because he's 4 years old now and by
9:30
looking into our homes School curriculum
9:32
I know that we are getting pretty close
9:34
to telling time I think we are probably
9:36
a couple of weeks away so I thought that
9:38
this would be a really great learning
9:39
gift for him really durable educational
9:42
he can use it as much as he wants and
9:44
then we can pass it down to a future
9:45
child so an educational toy under the
9:48
Christmas tree is a must for me of
9:50
course I include some more fun options
9:53
like the rubble and crew and the Paw
9:55
Patrol some imaginary play like the
9:57
doctor kits and the wooden tool benches
10:01
as well as some more like things that
10:04
will keep him busy for a longer amount
10:06
of time and give him a chance to really
10:08
be creative and use his mind like the
10:10
wooden trade table and the black table
10:14
and things like that but educational
10:16
gifts are also a must up under my tree
10:19
every single year I'm not going to have
10:20
the fun without the learning activities
10:23
especially because my little one loves
10:25
things like this and because we did this
10:28
from a very early age has really sparked
10:30
his love for learning so I'm not getting
10:33
this to punish him on Christmas you guys
10:36
he's really going to love this him
10:37
because he loves learning new things it
10:40
gives him so much confidence that's just
10:42
the type of kid he is so I got him the
10:44
clock and then I also got him the wooden
10:47
shoe lacing toy as well so they he learn
10:50
to tie his shoes something else that I
10:53
think he is going to love learning how
10:54
to do and it's a skill that he should
10:58
start learning it's so much easier to
10:59
teach our little ones skills with play
11:02
and toys than it is without it it makes
11:04
it a lot more fun and makes them
11:05
actually want to do it because he got
11:08
this as a gift and he sees it as a toy
11:11
it'll be easier for me to get him to
11:13
actually want to learn how to tell time
11:15
and how to tie his shoes so these were
11:17
on sale at Target Melissa and Doug this
11:19
one was like $12 the other one was like
11:21
$11 so some really great educational
11:24
opportunities if you are a parent who
11:27
wants that educational aspect for
11:29
Christmas or if you are gifting it to
11:32
another mom who prefers that style of
11:35
toys because there are some families and
11:37
parents who on their little On's
11:39
birthdays they will put like educational
11:42
toys as like the gift preference so
11:45
great gift options to add an educational
11:48
aspect so those are the nine gifts that
11:50
I have for you guys in part one of my
11:53
Christmas gift haul I hope that you
11:54
enjoyed this this is everything that I
11:55
got pre Black Friday sale and then one
11:58
those sale start rolling in if I see
12:00
anything more that I want to add to this
12:03
gift haul then I am going to do so and
12:06
I'll be sure to record part two of our
12:08
Christmas gift haul so that you guys can
12:09
see everything that's that I was able to
12:11
get my little one for Christmas again we
12:15
save a lot of the toys that he want all
12:17
year around for Christmas so that when
12:20
we are giving him a lot of toys at once
12:22
is because we kind of didn't give him a
12:24
whole lot throughout the year or I
12:25
didn't my husband that's a completely
12:27
different story but me this is the way
12:29
that I like to do things and if you
12:31
gradually get things throughout the year
12:33
as they go on sale you don't have to
12:35
worry about spending a huge big book at
12:37
once everything that I got here I think
12:40
I totaled to about a little bit over 400
12:44
$450 my budget for him was $400 for this
12:48
gift haul I went a little bit over at
12:51
$450 um and then if I see anything else
12:54
that I want to get him it's definitely
12:56
going to be things that went on sale I
12:59
hope that you guys enjoyed it and found
13:00
it to be helpful I would love to know
13:02
what you got your little one for
13:03
Christmas this year and what you think
13:05
of some of these options here let me
13:08
know Down Below in the comments below
13:10
and if you enjoyed this video don't
13:11
forget to give it a thumbs up and of
13:13
course I would love for you to subscribe
13:15
to my channel for more homemaking and
13:17
motherhood motivation just like this if
13:20
you have not seen it before don't forget
13:22
to check out last year Christmas gift
13:24
haul it has a ton of really great
13:27
options in addition to these and a lot
13:29
of them are also a mon stur friendly
13:33
gender neutral and durable as well a lot
13:35
of the things that I got him last year
13:37
for Christmas he is still playing with
13:39
to this day with the exception of maybe
13:42
one or two toys and I think that that's
13:44
because it was like a PJ mask not very
13:46
durable type of toy I'm going to link
13:48
that one for you guys definitely check
13:50
that one out as well and last thing if
13:53
you didn't take anything else away from
13:55
this video the biggest thing that I want
13:57
you to take away is not to feel
13:59
compelled to go out and get your little
14:01
one all of the most expensive toys and
14:04
all of the things that you see everyone
14:06
else buying their little ones as well if
14:07
you would rather take a more
14:09
conservative giftgiving approach you do
14:11
not have to get your little one 20 toys
14:12
you don't even have to get your little
14:13
one nine toys you can get your little
14:15
one five toys or just one toy one thing
14:18
that we like to do every year is go
14:20
through and see what toys he hasn't
14:21
played throughout the year and we
14:23
package them up and then we gift them to
14:25
a children's shelter and because we sh
14:28
durable toys they're still in really
14:30
good shape to be able to gift to another
14:32
family so that just helps us to not feel
14:35
like we are just wasting and throwing
14:36
money on our little one because every
14:38
year we can also gift to another family
14:41
who is less able to get gifts as well so
14:45
I feel like if you can find a way to
14:47
teach your little one and allow them to
14:48
pick out some of their toys that you've
14:50
bought in the past that they aren't
14:51
planing with and teach them the real
14:53
true meaning of gift giving and what it
14:55
really means to be kind and to share
14:57
with one another then I think that it
15:00
means a lot more than just putting gifts
15:02
under the Christmas tree but don't feel
15:04
compelled to go out and spend a lot of
15:05
money this time of year and don't feel
15:08
compelled to compare yourself to any
15:10
other family out there do what is best
15:12
for you your little one and your family
15:15
but with that I hope that you have a
15:17
very merry Christmas and happy holiday
15:19
season thank you so much for watching
15:22
this video I truly appreciate you for
15:24
being here and I hope that you have a
15:26
wonderful week and a happy holiday
15:28
season season thanks for watching
15:30
that'll be all until next time bye
