Ready?
0:01
Okay, here we go.
0:04
Ready?
0:05
Good.
0:08
I need some energy. Guys, I've been
0:11
doing some weight training and right now
0:14
it's coming in handy.
0:15
>> Yellow ducky.
0:16
>> Yellow ducky.
0:18
>> Yellow ducky.
0:19
>> What else is yellow? This is yellow.
0:21
What's What else is yellow?
0:23
>> Yellow.
0:24
>> Yes, yellow.
0:26
Good job. So, there's a tip for you.
0:29
Whenever you're cooking, if you know you
0:31
have a busier week, just make a little
0:34
bit extra. Just make a few extra
0:36
pancakes and toss them in the freezer
0:37
for the kids so that you can pull them
0:39
out if you need to.
0:43
>> Cuz you never know when you're only
0:44
going to get 5 hours of sleep like me
0:45
and then you just wake up exhausted and
0:48
you're already done with the day and the
0:49
day just started.
0:51
>> Are you ready?
0:52
>> Yeah.
0:53
>> What you reading?
0:54
>> Yeah.
0:55
We're going to unbox our curriculum. I'm
0:58
super excited. That works perfect.
1:00
>> Yeah.
1:01
>> What do you think of the table?
1:03
>> A table.
1:04
>> Do you like it?
1:06
>> You like it?
1:08
>> Look.
1:11
>> Tomato. Say tomato.
1:14
>> It's just so much peace that comes into
1:16
my heart after prayer and when I stay
1:18
rooted in the Lord and his word.
1:20
>> They're doing pretty pretty okay. I try
1:23
to be very transparent with you guys.
1:24
Like, if I'm not having if I'm not
1:26
feeling well, I might mention it, but
1:27
I'm not going to make a whole video
1:28
about, hey, I'm in a crappy mood. Come
1:31
along with me while we have a crappy
1:32
mood together. I just don't enjoy that.
1:36
If I have one of those days, I would use
1:38
it as a learning lesson and then come
1:40
and tell you guys like, "This happened
1:41
on this day and here's what I did to
1:43
overcome that." That would have gone
1:45
faster if I wasn't talking so much.
1:48
However, it is done and now we're going
1:51
to unload this. If you're new here,
1:53
welcome. It can get a little jatty over
1:55
here. Today, I woke up and before I even
1:57
got out of the bed, I was like, "No,
1:59
nope. Today is not the day for me." I
2:02
got about maybe five 5 and 1/2 hours of
2:06
sleep. Sleep was so fragmented. I woke
2:09
up like several times throughout the
2:10
night. I just laid there contemplating.
2:13
Did not want to get up, you guys. I was
2:15
like, "Okay, I think I need to listen to
2:16
myself. I know I'm not going to thrive
2:18
from 5 hours of sleep. Let me go back to
2:20
sleep." And then
2:22
I never got back to sleep. So about an
2:25
hour or so later, I got out the bed.
2:27
Still sleepy. Wasted so much time in the
2:30
bed. I probably could have gotten so
2:33
much done. But here we are, you guys.
2:35
And I've started this vlog off wrong
2:38
already. I'm going to turn the mic on
2:40
now because I forgot to turn the mic on.
2:43
I think it's on now. I have a very busy
2:46
day today. And I think that that is
2:48
actually what had been discouraging me
2:51
already. So, I'm going to make a matcha.
2:55
I'm going to say a prayer, read a quick
2:57
devotional, and just get into it.
2:59
Because the more I overthink it, that's
3:01
what's really going to discourage me.
3:04
Because today, we are we we got Noah, my
3:07
son. He's 7 years old. We got his
3:09
homeschool curriculum in the mail today.
3:11
We've been doing the good and the
3:12
beautiful since he was about maybe four.
3:15
We started off with preschool for Thre's
3:18
Horizons when he was like 2 and a half,
3:19
three. But once we switched to The Good
3:21
and the Beautiful, we've been just using
3:23
that ever since. So, his level three
3:25
curriculum came in the mail today. And I
3:28
got a few things. I'm still putting
3:29
together my daughter, she is two. I'm
3:31
still putting together her learning plan
3:34
to make sure that she's set for the
3:36
school year as well, or at least for the
3:38
first half of the school year. We're
3:39
putting that together. A few things I
3:41
need to move around. My husband's
3:42
working in what usually is our
3:44
homeschool area because we're renovating
3:47
the basement basically. And so I'm going
3:49
to probably be homeschooling in our
3:51
family room for the next few weeks or so
3:54
because you guys, we are literally 4
3:55
weeks away from having to head back down
3:58
south. So we also have that coming up.
4:01
Today I need to do a full workout. I
4:03
work out full body three days a week
4:05
like a full 90 minute workout and then
4:08
two days a week I try and squeeze in
4:11
like a 30 minute circuit for five day
4:14
workout but again two of the days are a
4:16
bit lighter. Um so yeah I need I need
4:19
some energy.
4:21
I do not have to make the kids any
4:25
breakfast or lunch today because what we
4:27
ate yesterday I made extra so that I
4:31
didn't have to worry about that today.
4:32
So, there's a tip for you. Whenever
4:33
you're cooking, if you know you have a
4:36
busier week, just make a little bit
4:38
extra or just do it anyway because you
4:40
never know when something is going to
4:41
come up. It's better to be safe than
4:43
sorry. So, when you're making pancakes,
4:46
just make a few extra pancakes and toss
4:48
them in the freezer for the kids so that
4:50
you can pull them out if you need to. I
4:51
made some Chipotle wraps yesterday as
4:54
well. Ours had like Chipotle sauce. Baby
4:56
girls had like ranch dressing, but they
4:58
were really delicious. So, I actually
5:00
used up all of the like the full package
5:03
of the bread. We had like pita bread
5:05
instead of like putting the bread back
5:07
inside the fridge and letting it go bad
5:09
or in the cabinet. I just use up the
5:11
whole package. So, that basically we
5:15
would be able to have some leftover. We
5:18
are going to have some of that for lunch
5:19
today. So, yeah. So, thankful that I did
5:22
that. So, that's a little bit less on my
5:24
plate. However, I do have a few dishes
5:26
to unload from the dishwasher that I
5:28
didn't finish unloading last night and
5:30
then a few from leftover last night.
5:32
Like maybe a few cups in a bowl to just
5:34
put in the dishwasher. I tried to close
5:36
down the kitchen every single night so
5:37
that I don't have that on my plate in
5:39
the morning. So, there's something else
5:41
that you can do to just make the days a
5:43
little bit easier because you never know
5:44
when you're only going to get 5 hours of
5:45
sleep like me and then you just wake up
5:47
exhausted and you're already done with
5:49
the day and the day just started. So,
5:51
there's that. And I need to clean the
5:54
living room. The living room is
5:56
definitely a mess. So, those are the
5:59
main areas of what I need to clean right
6:01
now. I do have some decluttering, but
6:02
that's not going to be in this video. I
6:04
would like to do a separate decluttering
6:05
video, just go through the entire house
6:07
because I basically just have like a
6:09
large being like all of our homeschool
6:11
activities and things like that and a
6:12
few of my work things that I need to
6:14
declutter. But, I'm going to wait until
6:17
closer to where we are getting ready.
6:19
That's not smart. I was going to say
6:21
closer to when we're getting ready to
6:23
head back. Um because some of that stuff
6:26
I wanted to pack up. I'll probably do it
6:28
in about a week or so, at least 2 weeks
6:31
out because some of that's going back
6:34
down south with us. Then whatever is
6:35
still in there, that's when I'll go
6:37
through and declutter it. Like there are
6:39
different random puzzle pieces and stuff
6:41
that I don't even know if we have all
6:42
the pieces to. We have a desk back here
6:45
that used to be in the homeschool area
6:47
or the front room and it has a bottom
6:50
drawer that also needs to be
6:52
decluttered. And then our upstairs
6:54
closet needs to declutter. And then our
6:56
kitchen pantry. I need to organize this
6:59
kitchen pantry except I haven't done it
7:02
since we've been back. We've been here
7:03
for 2 months and I haven't organized the
7:06
pantry at all. And it's because we're
7:09
going to be emptying it back out before
7:12
we leave. I knew we would only be here
7:14
for 3 months and I should have done it
7:16
when we first got here. I don't know. I
7:19
I don't know. Everything is up in the
7:21
air. So, I want to walk you guys through
7:23
some of our homeschool um upcoming plans
7:26
like especially for my daughter because
7:28
with my son, we get his curriculum
7:30
allin-one from the good and the
7:32
beautiful and all we need to supplement
7:34
with is extracurriculars or like outside
7:36
activities and classes. So, like swim
7:38
classes, jiu-jitsu, fight classes, art
7:40
and music, things like that. Not even
7:42
art. Um, and then he was doing music
7:44
here with my husband because we have a
7:46
guitar, we have a piano. Maybe we'll
7:48
bring his guitar with us and we'll just
7:50
do like online guitar lessons. That'll
7:53
solve that issue, save some money. We
7:55
did not get the Florida homeschool
7:57
scholarship funding. We applied, we were
7:59
approved and eligible for the
8:01
scholarship, but we did not get funding
8:03
because we were not priority. Renewals
8:06
are priority than they go income based.
8:07
Hopefully, we have better luck next
8:09
year. Um, I don't know if we will
8:11
qualify as a renewal or not. Who knows?
8:13
But nevertheless, we're gonna homeschool
8:15
either way, but it would have been
8:18
great. You know, all the extra stuff is
8:20
it could get expensive. Or you can just
8:23
figure it out at home. Like here, we
8:25
have a large yard. During the
8:27
summertime, it's easy for us to, I
8:29
guess, go outside and get in some
8:32
exercise and activity. Um, in Florida,
8:35
it's easy when we're there during the
8:37
winter fall months to go swimming at the
8:41
pool. Swimming is something we could
8:43
just do on our own. Maybe my husband can
8:45
give him some swim lessons if that's
8:47
something he's great at. Like I have a
8:49
friend, she taught her son, he swims
8:51
very well. She taught him to swim. I
8:54
don't I'm not a great swimmer. Like I
8:56
don't that's just not you guys.
9:00
It's I I'm not good. Okay. I don't know
9:03
how to tread water basically. So if I'm
9:05
swimming, I can swim as long as the
9:08
water does not go above my head because
9:10
once I get tired, I need to like stop
9:14
swimming, stand up to take a break
9:17
basically. Um if I get tired because I
9:20
don't know how to front or back float or
9:21
tread water. So I just know how to swim
9:25
but I don't know how to just you know.
9:29
So yeah, nothing nothing over like five
9:32
feet because I'm only like five three
9:34
and a half. I can't do anything above
9:37
here, you know. So there's that. I need
9:40
to learn. Maybe my husband can teach us
9:42
both. So yeah, there are things that you
9:44
can do that doesn't necessarily mean
9:45
that you have to pay for outside
9:48
activities. Um my son did start off with
9:52
swim lessons, so he's gotten really
9:53
really great. But once we got to
9:55
Florida, he was doing swim lessons in
9:57
Michigan, but in Florida, the closest
9:59
swim class, the one that he was in here,
10:02
they have Florida locations, but the
10:03
closest one is 30 minutes away. Maybe
10:06
we'll try the drive out, see if there's
10:07
an earlier time of the day where traffic
10:11
is lighter. I just doubt it. The area we
10:13
stay in is heavy traffic, tourist area
10:16
around Disney World and things. Yeah, I
10:19
don't know. With my daughter, we have to
10:22
build her curriculum because she's not
10:23
at the age where she's going to sit down
10:25
at a table and do like book work or
10:27
anything like that. She only has about
10:30
15 minutes of focused attention. We want
10:33
to slowly build that up so that when
10:34
she's three, we can get into penmanship
10:37
like writing, tracing, which takes a
10:40
little bit more focus. So, basically,
10:42
right now, we're setting the building
10:44
blocks for that. We're working on fine
10:46
motor skills, things that's going to
10:47
help her with pinser grasp so that when
10:50
it's time for her to hold a pencil,
10:51
she'll be able to do that. So, we're
10:52
looking for manipulatives at this point
10:54
like monster puzzles to help her with
10:57
recognition of colors, sensory things.
10:59
So, our biggest thing right now is fine
11:01
motor, pinser grip, shapes, colors,
11:04
animals, and their sounds, as well as
11:07
getting into the habit of answering
11:08
basic questions and following basic
11:10
instruction. Baby girl, my daughter, she
11:12
loves to color as well. So, um, holding
11:16
that crayon, that's good practice for
11:19
once we introduce the pencil, but we
11:21
need something just a little bit more
11:24
tedious, I guess. I don't know the
11:26
proper word for it, like lacing beads,
11:28
for instance, stuff like that. Um,
11:30
holding like the spoon, picking up the
11:32
balls, putting them inside of the
11:34
corresponding like colored cup, things
11:36
like that. Counting berries where you
11:38
use like the little plastic tongs. We'll
11:40
be picking things like that. We have
11:41
lots of learning materials in Florida
11:43
here. We don't have a ton. The ones that
11:45
we have are my son's old ones. So, for
11:47
instance, he'll have like a shape puzzle
11:50
with eight shapes on there. With that,
11:52
the problem is that she's not going to
11:54
grasp it all at once. Eventually, she'll
11:56
get there, but I don't want her super
11:58
overwhelmed or distracted. Basically, we
12:00
want to focus on like two or three
12:02
shapes at a time. Maybe just focus on
12:05
circle, triangle. Then we'll focus on
12:07
circle, triangle, square, circle,
12:10
triangle, square, oval, star, heart, you
12:12
know, introduce them little by little.
12:14
So, I found a puzzle at Walmart. I think
12:16
it has it's a Melissa and Doug jumbo
12:19
knob puzzle. I'm not a fan of the knobs.
12:20
I think it distracts away from the shape
12:22
itself. Um, so if I could find something
12:24
else, that would be great. However, it
12:28
only has five shapes, so that's a little
12:31
bit better. You know, otherwise she does
12:33
have, like I said, a few of them in
12:35
Florida. So, just a few extra things
12:36
that I'm getting for her. The way that I
12:38
go about putting together a toddler
12:41
learning plan before preschool is all
12:44
manipulative, all hands-on because at
12:46
this age, they love to be curious and
12:48
explore and run around. They don't love
12:50
to sit still very much. So, you figure
12:52
out what you want to focus on, what's
12:54
going to help them when they begin
12:55
preschool, and you search for things
12:57
specifically for that. For example, I
12:59
know I want to practice colors with her.
13:01
I'm going to say, "Okay, right now we
13:03
want to focus on colors. maybe just the
13:04
primary colors. I might go online and
13:07
search Walmart, Amazon, Target for
13:10
learning toys to teach colors and pick
13:13
the one that is best suitable for what
13:17
I'm looking for. Flash cards are great
13:19
at this age as well. You have to start
13:21
short like you could maybe go with just
13:23
five cards, 10 at the most. It just
13:26
depends, I guess, on the age and the
13:28
temperament of the child. We have to
13:30
build up that focus. screen time. It
13:33
definitely reduces the amount of time
13:35
that in my opinion children can focus.
13:37
We do screen time here in our home. So
13:39
that's something that I have to take the
13:42
consequences of. Okay, maybe we'll go
13:45
over some of that today. I want to
13:46
quickly get into the kitchen really
13:49
quick before my little ones come
13:51
downstairs and join me. We have a
13:53
morning and evening routine for my son.
13:56
My daughter doesn't have one yet. Maybe
13:58
we can try to put one together for her,
14:00
but he has his routine that he does
14:02
every morning that he knows he needs to
14:04
do. If he comes downstairs and I can
14:06
tell he didn't do it yet, instead of me
14:07
having to tell him what to do, I'll just
14:09
say, "Go do your morning routine." And
14:11
he knows he needs to make sure that he's
14:14
washed his face, brushed his teeth,
14:15
dressed himself, they take baths at
14:17
night, makes his bed, and then he knows
14:21
time to eat. Then he knows it's time to
14:22
do school work, and then he knows after
14:24
school work it's playtime. That's the
14:26
end of his morning routine. His his
14:28
evening routine is when I'm typically
14:31
beginning to prepare dinner and I need
14:33
them to calm down. So, he cleans his
14:35
toys, take a shower or a bath. He needs
14:39
to put on his pajamas, eat dinner, brush
14:43
his teeth, and then we'll do something
14:46
as a family. So, like family time, and
14:48
then after that, we have book time,
14:50
prayer, bedtime. They're two separate
14:53
charts. And then we also have a sticker
14:56
system which we haven't been using
14:58
because I don't really necessarily want
14:59
it to be an incentive to knowing that
15:02
everybody in life my leg is itching.
15:05
Everybody in life has a responsibility
15:07
and that's just everybody in this family
15:10
and we're a family. We all work together
15:12
and in life in general we have
15:14
responsibilities. I don't necessarily
15:16
give a reward for it. However, we'll
15:19
give him money so that he can learn how
15:22
to share, how to give, how to save. So,
15:25
some of his money he'll put into his
15:26
savings bank. Some of his money he'll
15:28
put into his wallet. The wallet is what
15:30
we he he will put inside of his backpack
15:32
when we're out and about and we're going
15:33
places. And that's the one that he will
15:37
basically if he wants to buy himself a
15:40
toy or sometimes he wants to buy someone
15:42
else something like he'll see something
15:43
that he likes for his sister and he'll
15:45
buy it. you'll see something from mom or
15:46
dad or a friend. Okay, so I've talked a
15:51
ton of a lot. If you're new here,
15:53
welcome. It can get a little chatty over
15:55
here. I'm going to get into some actual
15:57
productivity right now. I want to, like
15:59
I said, get the kitchen done and then
16:00
make me a matcha. And I need to pause. I
16:02
need to pray. I need to do my devotions.
16:05
Should have even started this vlog
16:06
before I did that. However, we are not
16:10
all perfect. My husband had just stepped
16:12
out. I think he's actually probably
16:14
gonna be bringing me a matcha, so I'm
16:16
not gonna make one. My guess is that
16:18
he's b buying a matcha from Starbucks.
16:21
And my family, we're we're a close
16:23
family. We do everything together. We
16:24
spend a ton of time together. We both
16:27
work from home. I do content creation. I
16:29
have a small business and my husband has
16:30
a bunch of clients. So, the kids are
16:33
always around us. So, vlogging around
16:35
here, there's always somebody on my back
16:37
or next to me. So my husband when he
16:39
stepped that I was like let me go ahead
16:40
and do the bulk of the intro because
16:43
even after having done this for 3 years
16:46
and being married to my husband for 10
16:48
years and having been dating him for 15
16:51
years it still feels a little bit odd
16:54
talking on camera in front of him. When
16:57
I'm by myself it feels fine. But around
16:59
other people I get into that like maybe
17:01
they think I'm crazy like oh she's
17:03
talking to herself. I don't know you
17:04
guys. Whatever. Let me get into all of
17:06
this stuff. The point is that basically
17:08
I wanted to do it while he was out for a
17:11
minute and then little by little that's
17:13
fine. The little vlogging and things
17:14
like that throughout the day. I have
17:16
like four dishes. Four dishes. That's
17:19
it. I going to ask my husband if he is
17:22
bringing me my matcha and get the last
17:25
of these dishes unloaded.
17:33
I get distracted sometimes. It's not a
17:35
distraction. It's just sometimes things
17:37
I had to respond to a text message from
17:39
my sister-in-law. Um,
17:42
it was a really good text message. She
17:45
just got a job that she had been trying
17:48
to get. So, really happy for her. If you
17:52
see this video,
17:54
she watches more than anybody else that
17:58
I know. I absolutely love and appreciate
18:00
her. I think that bonus sisters are so
18:03
underrated. And I have you guys, I have
18:07
two sisters um on my mother's side. And
18:12
then on my father's side, meaning um not
18:16
birthed by my mother, I also have
18:19
another sister. Yeah, bonus sisters are
18:22
underrated. My husband has he has three
18:24
sisters, so I get three bonus sisters.
18:27
Love them to pieces. How are you guys
18:29
doing with the upcoming school year? Uh,
18:33
prayers of course for
18:36
the new school year. I know it can be a
18:38
trying time for many moms sending their
18:40
littles back to school. Some of them are
18:42
like, "Get the heck out of here and are
18:45
excited for it." So, how are you
18:47
feeling? I have a mom friend who just
18:51
sent her last baby off to school. She
18:54
has a 10-year-old, a seven almost
18:57
8-year-old, and then she has her
19:00
daughter who is five and just going into
19:03
kindergarten. And so she was like super
19:05
emotional about that, her last child or
19:10
you never know, God's plan obviously,
19:14
but um yeah, she's been pretty pretty
19:17
emotional about it. So, how are you guys
19:21
feeling with the new school year? Or if
19:25
you're homeschooling,
19:27
have you already started? Are you
19:29
waiting until after Labor Day? When do
19:31
you begin? We kind of just I don't know.
19:34
We've been doing summer homeschool. So,
19:36
like supplemental work, a little bit
19:37
more leisurely and relaxed. I talked
19:39
about it on a previous vlog. We
19:41
basically just do practice work,
19:43
something that's in between the previous
19:45
and next level. Lots of outdoor playtime
19:49
and spending time with family and
19:50
friends while we are up north. We are
19:54
going to now get back into our actual
19:59
curriculum
20:03
and begin the next grade level.
20:07
So, that would have gone faster if I
20:09
wasn't talking so much. However, it is
20:12
done. And now we're going to unload
20:15
this. And I'm good to go ahead take a
20:21
break.
20:30
Love when I do a evening clothes down
20:33
right after dinner. So now that that's
20:36
done, I'm going to take a moment, get my
20:38
little self together. I'm going to grab
20:40
the actual homeschool box off the porch.
20:42
bring it inside, say, um, sit down, go
20:46
into prayer and devotion, and gather my
20:50
thoughts for the day. Um, because if you
20:53
can't tell already
20:57
a half hour into the day, I sound all
21:00
over the place. So yeah, I'm going to
21:02
gather myself and then when I'm done, I
21:05
really want to tackle cleaning up the
21:08
family room and maybe try and see about
21:12
moving a few things around in the family
21:15
room, the front room to figure out how
21:17
we're going to homeschool or where going
21:20
forward. It's feeling a whole lot better
21:22
now that I have said my prayer. Why do
21:27
we set ourselves up for failure like
21:28
that? Like why start our days without
21:32
prayer when we know that with prayer our
21:35
mind can be so much more clearer? It's
21:37
like all of a sudden you have eyes that
21:39
see and ears that can hear and I don't
21:43
know. It's just one of those things
21:44
where all of a sudden everything feels
21:47
more clear, you know. Um I don't know.
21:51
It's just so much peace that comes into
21:53
my heart after prayer and when I stay
21:55
rooted in the Lord and his word. This is
21:58
my Starbucks order. The grande iced
22:02
chocolate mocha with almond milk. And
22:07
this is what I'm going to be working on.
22:08
My husband I don't. He probably got like
22:11
the caramel ribbon crunch. I love this
22:14
one. I also sometimes I just do the
22:16
caramel ribbon crunch. I'm not a huge
22:17
fan of it to be honest. But I do love
22:20
the matcha like the chocolate matcha. I
22:23
think it has like pistachio flavor with
22:26
like um
22:29
chocolate foam on top. I forget what
22:32
it's called. I don't know if it's like a
22:34
pistachio
22:36
or matcha. It's matcha. I don't know. I
22:40
also love the
22:43
um lavender matcha and the banana I
22:47
think it's like a banana muffin protein
22:50
coffee. All of those are delicious.
22:52
Those are like my go-to. Comment down
22:54
below. Let me know what your go-to
22:56
Starbucks order is. I am going to be
22:59
working on I'll show you the book that
23:01
I'm going to the devotional. It's called
23:04
Find Rest. I am pretty far back in there
23:09
as you can see. So, it's great like
23:12
quick devotionals. We need to find God
23:15
and he cannot be found in noise and
23:17
restlessness. God is the friend of
23:20
silence. We need silence to be able to
23:22
touch souls. I don't really love that
23:24
one that much.
23:27
What you focus on is what you see. I
23:30
think that clears it up.
23:33
The Bible scripture for this one is
23:34
whatever is true, whatever is noble,
23:36
whatever is right, whatever is pure,
23:38
whatever is lovely, whatever is
23:39
admirable, if anything is excellent or
23:41
praiseworthy. Think about such things.
23:43
Love, love, love, love that scripture.
23:46
Um, and so
23:49
I think it's just telling us to be
23:50
intentional about what we focus on. Um,
23:53
opposed to saying that God can't be
23:56
found like in the noise. God, you can
23:59
find him in any in any season of life
24:02
that you're in. Um, but so yeah, it's
24:05
okay. It's okay. I'm back here.
24:09
God is most glorified when you're most
24:11
satisfied in him. And I am going to be
24:15
focusing in Matthew 7:es 3-5. Yeah, I
24:20
remember this scripture here basically
24:23
saying like um make sure you're paying
24:26
attention to you know your own self
24:29
before you point the finger at somebody
24:31
else, you know. Um, so we'll see what
24:34
it's really about and then I'll read
24:39
like a chapter or
24:42
so in my actual Bible. So, we're going
24:44
to work on that. I'm going to go out on
24:46
the patio. I'm going to spend this time
24:48
out on the patio with my husband, get
24:50
some fresh air, read, talk, work on my
24:55
coffee. So, my husband is very much not
24:57
relaxing. In fact, this is the opposite
24:59
of the peaceful time that I thought I
25:02
would be having. He's cutting the grass.
25:04
So, yeah, as you can hear, it's super
25:08
He's wasting no time. No relaxation for
25:11
him this morning, I guess. He's not up
25:14
for the morning relax on the patio that
25:16
we typically do today because he's out
25:18
cutting the grass. And it's a beautiful
25:19
day for it. It had been a little bit
25:21
cooler, like in the low 70s, which maybe
25:24
that's the perfect temperature to cut
25:26
the grass. Um, but right now it's like
25:29
78 79. Still a little bit breezy and the
25:32
weather, the breeze is warm. Like it's
25:35
one of those warm breezes that just
25:37
feels so good on your skin. So, um, I'm
25:41
going to take a page out of his book and
25:43
get done what I need to get done on the
25:45
inside as well, so that I can spend some
25:46
time outdoors and take the kids outside
25:49
as well, cuz it feels absolutely amazing
25:52
out there. We're going to unbox our
25:54
curriculum. I'm super excited. I'm going
25:56
to do the full unboxing review for you
26:00
guys, but we have the handwriting level
26:02
three workbook, the language arts course
26:04
book, we have four reading books. We
26:07
also have the ecosystem study unit, as
26:10
well as the ecosystem book,
26:12
multiplication flashcards, the math book
26:15
and box, as well as the spelling
26:17
practice book. So, I'm not a fan. I'm
26:20
not going to go in depth again. We're
26:21
going to do a separate video, but I'm
26:22
not a fan of this already. the spelling.
26:25
I don't Why is it so thin? I don't love
26:28
that. I just don't. But we'll see how he
26:32
does with it. Um, let me show you guys
26:34
like the size of the
26:39
like I'm not a huge fan of it's not an
26:41
expensive curriculum. Um, the chapter
26:44
books are much larger than the ones from
26:48
last some last year. It has 23 chapters.
26:55
I think there were 10 chapters. You got
26:57
two books with about 10 chapters. Level
26:59
two. And yeah, it's like parent and
27:02
student reading. But this one has color.
27:06
The last book did not have color. Four
27:09
chapter books. And they're going to be
27:12
like books that actually practice what
27:14
we're learning in the curriculum. This
27:16
spelling practice book. both come with
27:19
the actual language arts um curriculum.
27:24
So here's the language arts course book
27:29
118 and then the review I mean the large
27:32
test at the end. So yeah about 120
27:37
lessons. So the course book, the
27:40
spelling book and the four chapter books
27:43
all for the language art. Then we also
27:46
have the level three handwriting book. I
27:49
don't love the spiral,
27:52
but this one introduces
27:55
cursive writing.
27:57
We decided to go with the math course
28:01
book. It for some reason was shipped um
28:04
with a separate carrier. So all of this
28:06
came with FedEx and then I think the
28:08
math is the last course book to come
28:10
later on today. I think probably within
28:12
the next hour or two. So, these are the
28:14
flash cards for multiplication. I wish
28:17
they were on a ring. So, I'm thinking
28:18
I'm going to go ahead and punch holes in
28:20
these and just put them on a ring. Make
28:22
it easier. Or maybe they should stay
28:24
off.
28:27
I don't know. But we'll get maybe a case
28:29
for them. We'll get a case for them. And
28:31
then we have the ecosystems. It comes
28:34
with the student journal as well as the
28:38
actual unit study. So you have to buy
28:40
the unit study and then the student
28:42
journal based on the grade level. So
28:44
this is three through six. You get the
28:46
the other one is like seven through
28:48
eight. So ecosystem is something he has
28:52
been taking a huge liking to and I think
28:55
it's really great to study it learning
28:57
different things and we can definitely
28:59
pair it with being able to live up north
29:04
part of the year down south part of the
29:06
year. We get different types of
29:09
ecosystems, you know. So, I think that's
29:11
really great. We can pair this with like
29:14
an outing. Then we have these two books
29:18
I think were separate. They were not
29:19
included. So, we have up owl and his
29:22
ecosystems. So, just a reading book. And
29:25
then another readaloud ecosystems in our
29:29
backyard. This one is really cool. He's
29:31
going to love love this backyard one.
29:35
And then we have the actual good on the
29:38
beautiful math box already, but we
29:40
didn't get the workbook yet. It was
29:43
shipped separately. Yeah, there's that
29:45
that we have for now. They have this
29:48
really cool study. Is it a Becca?
29:52
I think it's a Becca. They actually have
29:55
state unit studies, which is really
29:57
cool. But the good and the beautiful,
29:59
they put their history or what do you
30:02
call it? social studies inside of of
30:05
here. So, it's geography. So, it's
30:07
phonics, writing, reading, grammar and
30:09
punctuation, spelling, literature,
30:11
geography, and art. So, there's art and
30:13
some geography in here. So, it does talk
30:15
a bit about like things around the
30:17
world, some artist study, some weather,
30:21
some poetry. Again, we'll get into all
30:23
that in a separate video. Loving the way
30:26
that the curriculum looks so far. I
30:29
think that he's going to he's going to
30:30
be so excited. My son loves learning new
30:33
things. He's going to also love this
30:35
ecosystem books. It has like different
30:38
animals, weather, nature. These are all
30:41
things that he absolutely love. We'll
30:42
get into all that in a separate video
30:44
because I want to show you guys a few
30:45
more books that he's really taking a
30:47
liking to that he loves like his
30:50
Smithsonian books and things. But for
30:51
now, I want to go and clean off the
30:53
homeschool his his table. He has like
30:55
some things on there that he had been
30:57
practicing throughout the past week or
30:59
two. I want to clean it off and see if
31:00
we can bring it maybe in the family room
31:04
on this little shelf here. You guys, I
31:06
got to fix those two blinds. I'm going
31:08
to I think this basket is pretty empty.
31:11
So, we're going to put some things that
31:12
I'm going to bring down for baby girl in
31:14
here. However, we're going to rotate
31:16
them on the shelf just for the next few
31:18
weeks. Just we're going to put like a
31:21
few things. We'll put like a couple of
31:23
books, a couple of learning puzzles, and
31:25
then like maybe a couple of like toys.
31:28
They have been really enjoying this
31:30
lately building these wooden railroad
31:33
tracks. We've had this since Noah was
31:35
like I don't know two or three long
31:38
time. I love these type of open-ended
31:41
good quality toys. These are the things
31:43
to buy. Okay, the kids have been loving
31:45
that. Also you guys Noah is back into
31:48
Paw Patrol. That that makes me so happy.
31:51
For one, we have gifted P. We have given
31:54
so much of our money and resources to
31:56
Paw Patrol because he loved Paw Patrol.
31:58
It was his thing. But, you know, the
32:00
description for us says like it's a
32:02
preschool show and he loved it since he
32:05
was about maybe four is when he started
32:08
to take a liking to Paw Patrol. But
32:10
within the past year, I had been
32:13
noticing that he hasn't been a huge huge
32:15
fan of it as much. Before we went to
32:18
Florida,
32:19
he loved it, but it was tapering off in
32:23
Florida. He I don't know. He hadn't been
32:27
playing with them as much. But when we
32:28
got back here, all of a sudden, he loves
32:30
it again. I'm happy about that because I
32:32
was thinking maybe he was just getting
32:33
at that age where he just feels like
32:35
he's too old for Paw Patrol. But they
32:37
have a new movie out. We're going to
32:39
take him to see the Paw Patrol movie.
32:40
because I am trying my best to, this is
32:44
going to sound bad, but keep him young
32:46
as long as I can. I'm not ready for him
32:48
to grow out of toys, you know? Yes, he's
32:50
seven, but I'm not ready for him to be
32:53
like, "Oh, I don't want to play with
32:54
those baby toys no more. He still loves
32:57
building railroad tracks. He's getting
32:58
back into loving his Paw Patrol. He's a
33:00
huge friend of Mario and Pokemon, and I
33:03
love that. I'm not ready for him to fall
33:05
in love with just electronics and things
33:09
only. In Florida, he took jiu-jitsu
33:14
fight classes either once or twice per
33:17
week. We would take them to Disney World
33:19
often. So, yeah, they didn't always they
33:22
weren't always indoor plane. However,
33:24
I'm really happy to see that he is still
33:25
loving his toys. So, you guys, let's
33:28
clean off that table. And I need to
33:30
bring up the meat for what I'm going to
33:34
cook for dinner. Going to just be baked
33:35
chicken potatoes. That's my go-to. I did
33:38
a full meal plan. Maybe I'll go through
33:39
that with you guys. It's upstairs
33:41
because u I'm trying to prep and plan
33:43
because again in 4 weeks we will be
33:46
heading back down south and I want to
33:47
make sure that we are planned and good
33:49
to go. So I want to do one more large
33:51
grocery shopping trip. And I picked
33:54
eight meals because it's seven days in
33:57
the week. One of those days we always
33:58
get like takeout and then two of those
34:01
days could just be eating leftovers. So
34:03
I just need four meals to actually cook
34:06
per week and at least two of those meals
34:07
I need to make extra to have leftovers
34:09
the next day. So I made sure when I was
34:11
planning that I picked meals that I
34:13
could do that with. And I only did eight
34:15
of them so that we can double up. So
34:16
we'll have different meals for two weeks
34:18
straight those eight meals but then the
34:21
next two weeks we're going to repeat it.
34:22
That is how we simplify preparing meals
34:24
around here. Let's go clean up this
34:25
table. I've been seeing it forever, you
34:27
guys. It's a mess. So, I'll get
34:34
my laminating machine put away. I
34:36
laminated these for him. I was going to
34:38
buy like large posters because he
34:42
sometimes forget quarter after
34:45
a quarter until mostly like if I was to
34:48
say if it is a quarter to 3, what time
34:50
is it? He might say 3:15. I feel like
34:54
this would be helpful. I was going to do
34:55
like a large poster. However, I wanted
34:58
something that he can have sitting down
35:00
at the table with him where he can
35:03
quickly be able to access it. So, I was
35:05
like, "Let's not do that. Let's just
35:07
save money and print one out." So, I
35:10
printed this, you guys. I had Chat GBT
35:12
make this. I printed it and I laminated
35:14
it. My laminating machine was like $15.
35:17
Um, and then I also did a multiplication
35:19
chart because I knew we would be getting
35:20
a multiplication. They have a
35:22
multiplication app, The Good and the
35:24
Beautiful. Uh I think it's I don't know
35:27
how much it costs,
35:30
but you can either buy monthly, like $3
35:32
a month or so, or pay the $35 for the
35:35
whole year. And it's the same for their
35:36
typing curriculum. So, we're going to
35:38
purchase access to those apps.
35:42
They do allow you to do a free trial if
35:44
you're not sure about if you actually
35:46
want to love it. I pulled out some of my
35:49
old laptops, you guys, and I'm going to
35:53
clean those off, and we'll have Noah use
35:57
one of those for his typing course.
35:59
They're now saying that typing is just
36:01
as important as handwriting because it's
36:05
just one of those things you just need
36:06
to know how to do now. He did some
36:08
typing when I was in school, middle
36:12
school, but yeah, now they're doing a
36:16
lot more of it. So, all types of stuff
36:18
over here on this table, you guys. Some
36:20
work stuff,
36:25
both me and my husband, as well as
36:29
some stuff the kids have been working
36:31
on. Love this cute little picture. Still
36:32
a page left, so we're going to save this
36:35
one. This is from her magic marker. It's
36:39
like the ones where they only show up on
36:41
this paper. And this is my husband's. I
36:44
don't even know what it is.
36:46
cables. And then we got some number
36:48
puzzles for baby girl. Put this inside
36:51
of the activity bin. All right,
36:56
I think we're good there. I want to move
36:58
it into the family room. Here is the
37:01
desk that we used to have in the front
37:03
room. Sometimes I would sit here, do
37:05
things on my laptop, pull up any videos
37:08
or anything like that. He has his
37:11
learning tablet here that I need to
37:13
charge. Sometimes there are things that
37:14
the kids have to do on like a learning
37:18
tablet. It comes with like a app. Um I
37:21
guess you don't necessarily have to. You
37:22
can opt out for it, but they have like
37:24
different videos and things like that,
37:26
like learning videos and things like
37:27
that that they can access. Also, I think
37:31
fourth grade is when they begin to do a
37:33
lot more of that. Um, so my area
37:37
sometimes I work on my work like content
37:41
creation business stuff over here if
37:43
he's doing some work where it's like
37:45
independent basically.
37:48
Um, we have this area. Yes, it's a mess.
37:51
We have our little shoes everywhere. He
37:53
can definitely do school at the kitchen
37:54
table. However, we eat at the kitchen
37:57
table. So, it'll be a constant rotation
37:59
of, okay, clean the table off to eat.
38:02
Clean the table off for school. clean
38:03
the table off for dinner. There's
38:04
nothing wrong with doing that. However,
38:06
I love having his books set up for him
38:09
where they can just stay. I love having
38:11
his books and things set up for him
38:14
where they can just stay without me
38:16
having to hide them or put them away
38:18
every day or after every lesson, you
38:20
know, and it just be his work area. I
38:22
normally put like a little board over
38:24
his desk that he can see where we have
38:26
our plan laid out for that day. He's
38:28
going to need help normally at least for
38:31
the first half of the curriculum. Later
38:33
in the curriculum after we've been doing
38:35
it once we get to like unit three,
38:37
things are a little bit more repetitive.
38:40
Sometimes introducing things that's
38:41
going to be coming up in the next level.
38:44
There is things that he pretty much kind
38:46
of grasps and get the hang of where he
38:48
doesn't need me to teach every little
38:50
lesson to him. However, I like to have
38:53
like a rundown on the board so he can
38:55
stay on track with me. like it will say
38:57
like morning devotions, which now that
38:59
he's gotten great at reading, he can
39:01
read his own Bible devotions, you know,
39:03
morning prayer and devotion. We like to
39:06
keep the Lord's prayer. Maybe I'll
39:07
laminate one because we have one in
39:09
Florida. We just didn't laminate it. I
39:11
think I'll laminate one and we can pin
39:13
that to the board. We've been practicing
39:15
the Lord's prayer together, him
39:17
memorizing that. And then we have our
39:19
own homeschool prayer. So, I like to
39:21
just keep it on the board. Prayer,
39:23
devotions, handwriting. Then we get
39:26
right into our language arts, then math,
39:29
and then we close it out with reading.
39:31
Basically try and do something here.
39:34
Make it a learning corner for the next
39:36
few weeks or so.
39:43
I'm going to have to put this.
39:48
You guys, this little thing is ooh heavy
39:53
and sturdy. I think I got it from
39:55
Target. Love this table. Also happy to
39:59
find I get so distracted. Happy to find
40:02
this board. We can take it with us to
40:04
Florida. Um because my daughter loves
40:08
writing on our whiteboard when we're
40:09
trying to use it for school. But now you
40:11
guys can see like we
40:15
have been doing this quarter stuff like
40:17
quarter two quarter after half pass for
40:20
a bit now. So I've always tried to have
40:22
something to help him with that. But he
40:25
drew a picture of his sister. We can use
40:27
this. I bought this for him a while
40:30
back. It was like $25 and he didn't have
40:32
he didn't use it a ton, but I think my
40:36
daughter at her age would probably love
40:37
it more than my 7-year-old. You can put
40:40
a roll of like a large roll of like
40:44
paper that you can roll out and um it
40:48
goes behind this wooden piece and you
40:52
can put some paint in there like finger
40:54
paint, washable paint where they can
40:56
paint as well. Yeah, this is the perfect
40:59
size for him you guys. I love that so
41:03
far. I thought that I wouldn't and I was
41:05
like, eh, we'll just make do. But I'm
41:07
loving it so far. Okay,
41:11
guys. I've been doing some weight
41:14
training and right now it's coming in
41:15
handy. Very slow so don't sound like a
41:18
stampede.
41:23
All right, here we go. I got to sweep.
41:25
Now you guys can see that works perfect.
41:27
I'm going to miss homeschool here. I
41:30
love homeschool in Michigan. Honestly,
41:33
you guys, it's just different in
41:36
Florida. apartment living. We'll figure
41:38
it out. I'm 100% sure. Hey, so there is
41:42
one hole in the wall. This is the board
41:44
that I actually wanted to put up, but
41:47
the back of it actually has two notches
41:51
to hang it. So, I'm going to have to put
41:54
up two nails in the wall. Na'vi, what do
41:57
you think of the table?
42:00
Do you like it?
42:01
>> Yeah, I like it.
42:02
>> You do?
42:04
>> Yeah. What do you think of the table?
42:07
>> A table.
42:08
>> Do you like it?
42:09
>> I like it.
42:10
>> You do?
42:12
>> Yeah.
42:14
>> Do you think that's your table or you
42:15
think that's Noah's table?
42:17
>> No table.
42:18
>> Yeah, Noah table for school. Do you want
42:20
to start school?
42:24
>> Yeah, you're going to have to start
42:25
school soon, too. But all you get to do
42:27
lots of playing. You want to go outside?
42:30
>> Go outside.
42:32
Shoes. Yeah. Let's get your shoes on.
42:36
>> How old are you, baby? Are you two?
42:39
>> Yeah. Two.
42:40
>> Two.
42:40
>> Yeah.
42:41
>> Yeah. Two.
42:43
>> One thing about Na'vi, she is truly a
42:46
daddy's girl. Love that for her. But
42:49
yeah,
42:50
>> daddy.
42:51
>> Daddy.
42:52
>> Yeah, daddy.
42:52
>> She went to the store.
42:54
>> Daddy.
42:55
>> At night time, she wants daddy to put
42:57
her to bed. And whenever she sees that,
43:00
she gets so excited. and happy. He would
43:04
just hold her and spoil her and love on
43:06
her all day long. And I do too, but
43:11
that's like dad's thing, okay? He is
43:14
either playing with her or cuddling her.
43:18
Sometimes I play, sometimes I cuddle,
43:20
sometimes I'm teaching, sometimes I'm
43:22
changing diapes, sometimes I'm making
43:24
her take a bath when she don't want to
43:26
take a bath. So, I'm like here and
43:28
there, but that Oh, yeah. That's her
43:30
favorite. Okay. Where you going
43:34
>> in the swing?
43:35
>> Yeah.
43:36
>> You want to get in there?
43:37
>> Yeah.
43:38
>> Seeing the sprinklers run every
43:40
>> day.
43:53
Buckle up.
43:56
>> Buckle up.
43:58
>> Ready?
44:00
Okay, here we go.
44:02
Ready,
44:04
go.
44:13
>> Huh?
44:14
>> Get out.
44:15
>> You want to get out?
44:16
>> Maybe almost ripe. They're turning a
44:19
little bit yellow.
44:21
A little bit yellow and orange. Let's
44:23
go. Look. See if they're orange.
44:26
>> Yeah.
44:28
Okay, come on. Jump. Jump.
44:35
>> Yeah.
44:38
Look.
44:41
>> Tomato. Say tomato.
44:44
>> Yeah, they are almost They're trying to
44:46
get a little ripe. Don't pull. Nope.
44:48
Don't pull. Not yet. Not yet. But look
44:53
at this baby girl. I wants to grow. I
44:55
think we got some down in here.
44:58
couple down in there. But
45:02
yeah, they're not We're coming to the
45:05
end of the season. I don't know,
45:07
>> Mom.
45:07
>> How well they'll do, but we do have a
45:10
lot of different varieties.
45:13
Green peppers
45:16
we have wanting
45:19
wanting to come up like a lot. Okay. And
45:22
I don't know that we'll get to see them
45:28
or harvest them all. I last showed you
45:30
guys like when I was trying to bring
45:32
these roses back to life. They're doing
45:34
okay, you guys. They're they're doing
45:36
pretty pretty okay. This is a good way
45:38
to teach little ones how to follow
45:40
instructions they like. Good job. High
45:42
five. You got the yellow ball.
45:46
Basically, you put different things
45:47
around the yard. toys, balls, anything
45:50
that is easy for them to see. And you
45:52
just give them a wagon and have them to
45:56
go collect all the things. I found like
45:58
this inside of a Montasauri
46:01
book. I'll show you guys the book when
46:02
we go inside. But basically, um it's
46:06
like a easy Montasauri activity for like
46:09
ages 1 through three. So, we're going to
46:11
maybe find some more things in the
46:12
garage to put around and I'll just have
46:14
her go around the yard and grab all the
46:16
things and we'll get to catch some
46:17
lunch. And then soon after that, I have
46:20
to go and start working out for today
46:22
cuz I have a 90minute workout to do.
46:42
blue fish.
46:43
>> Yay! You got the blue fish.
46:50
>> What do you have?
46:56
>> Whoa! All types of things.
47:00
You got Paw Patrol football, a yellow
47:04
tennis ball, a yellow ducky, a pink egg.
47:09
Ducky.
47:10
>> A blue fishy.
47:11
>> Ducky.
47:12
>> Ducky.
47:13
>> Yeah, duck.
47:14
>> Yellow ducky.
47:16
>> Yellow ducky.
47:16
>> What else is yellow? This is yellow.
47:18
What's What else is yellow?
47:20
>> Yellow.
47:21
>> Yes. Yellow.
47:24
Good job. That's pretty cool. Is the
47:27
apple a magnet?
47:29
>> Yeah.
47:35
>> Is the whole thing or just the bottom a
47:37
magnet?
47:40
It's usually just the middle.
47:42
>> Oh, that's because the apple is sticking
47:45
to the table because the table is a
47:47
magnet. Try the glass table. Then it'll
47:50
probably pick it up because it won't it
47:52
won't stick to the table.
47:55
Yeah. There you go.
48:02
>> So pretty. Beautiful girl. You going to
48:04
help find the football?
48:07
>> Okay.
48:08
Want to try?
48:09
>> Yeah, I'll try.
48:11
I got cheese.
48:13
No. No.
48:16
>> Yeah.
48:16
>> I got cheese.
48:17
>> Cheese.
48:22
>> Mommy.
48:23
>> Not in there.
48:24
>> Mommy.
48:25
>> Kids. Been looking for the Paw Patrol
48:26
football for about five minutes now.
48:30
They found everything else pretty
48:32
quickly but the football. I tossed it
48:34
and it landed somewhere. landed inside
48:36
one of the hosta plants. So, it's like
48:38
sitting on the inside of the plant.
48:40
They're both already starting to get
48:42
distracted.
48:44
I think he found it. It like landed in
48:47
the back there inside one of the hosta
48:49
plants.
48:51
Be careful. It's a spiky rose. A thorny
48:53
rose bush.
48:57
You found it.
49:07
Good job.
49:09
>> Is it time for round two
49:11
>> again? You like this game, huh?
49:18
>> Are you reading?
49:19
>> Yeah.
49:20
>> What you reading?
49:21
>> Yeah.
49:22
>> What are you reading?
49:24
>> Yeah.
49:27
>> I said, "What are you reading?"
49:28
>> Yeah.
49:31
>> Yellow bead.
49:32
>> Yeah.
49:34
That's red.
49:37
>> Mhm.
49:42
>> All right. So, I'm getting ready to work
49:43
out now. I rarely ever show this area of
49:46
the home. This is the area of the home
49:48
that I told you guys is still under
49:49
renovation. I'm going to come down here,
49:53
work out a little bit. We have two
49:55
sides. This is what used to be my
49:58
husband's office in here.
50:01
However, as you can see, it's no longer
50:04
an office. It's also being renovated.
50:07
So, we're going to be turning this
50:09
entire side here into a gym. So, my
50:13
husband has like his 3D printer down
50:16
here, few workout equipment, some
50:18
leftover office equipment. We have two
50:21
deep freezers where we store like the
50:23
bulk of our meat. But this is what we
50:26
used to work with for our gym. So, we
50:28
used to just have this space. There used
50:30
to be a treadmill over here, but we
50:34
added a few more pieces. We used to have
50:38
drop ceiling. We had to remove the drop
50:41
ceiling because you guys can see how
50:42
tall some of the workout equipment is.
50:44
So, we are probably going to have to
50:48
leave the ceiling exposed, I'm thinking,
50:51
unless we just put drywall sheets over
50:54
it. Um, but I'm thinking we'll leave it
50:56
exposed because as you guys can see,
50:57
like even if we were to try to do like a
50:59
pull-up or a chin up, our head kind of
51:01
goes literally like between these two um
51:05
I don't know what you call them, studs
51:07
or something. We're probably going to
51:09
just spray paint the entire ceiling one
51:12
solid color and then replace the
51:16
flooring with the same type of flooring
51:19
that we have in here, which is like
51:23
these foam mats. The kids are upstairs
51:25
practicing piano with dad. Um, so we
51:30
definitely have a ton of work, so it's a
51:31
mess and I don't bring you guys down
51:33
here very often. But I'm going to do a
51:36
warm up and do a 90 minute workout down
51:40
here utilizing both sides. We have to
51:42
knock down the wall between the two
51:47
sides of the workout room. This whole
51:49
wall is going to be removed. Basically,
51:52
we'll leave we'll leave this wall up
51:55
because on the other end of that is the
51:56
laundry room. So only this wall is going
51:59
to be removed and then we will have the
52:04
two spaces combined and then we'll leave
52:06
up this wall because this wall also
52:09
that's the laundry room and utility
52:12
room. But we're working on figuring that
52:13
out. I'm going to get my workout done um
52:16
so that I can head upstairs and cook
52:19
dinner. We all had lunch, so took the
52:22
kids, played a lot outside, and then we
52:24
ate lunch. And then after lunch, Noah
52:27
has been working on his spelling
52:29
workbook, his handwriting workbook.
52:31
Na'vi was doing lacing beads, working on
52:34
like a picture book, and um a little bit
52:38
of like coloring with chalk and dryer
52:41
markers and things like that. And then
52:43
Noah is reading a book right now. And
52:45
then doing a little bit of piano
52:47
practice with my husband. So now that I
52:50
can get into the workout and then once
52:51
I'm done working out, take a hot shower
52:54
and relax a little bit and then, you
52:55
know, pretty much cook dinner. Then
52:57
we'll have our family time. And then
52:59
after family time, we'll be pretty much
53:02
closing down our night. Right after
53:04
dinner is when I clean up the whole
53:06
kitchen and everything like that. I'm
53:07
done working out. I look crazy, but I
53:10
feel really good. I had a wonderful,
53:12
wonderful, strong workout. So I've got
53:16
my shake here. This is just the
53:18
chocolate vegan naked mass gainer. It
53:21
helps me to make sure that I'm eating
53:22
enough calories to sustain my workouts
53:24
and make sure that I have enough protein
53:26
to fuel my workouts as well. So, I'm
53:29
going to work on drinking this. I was
53:31
going to let Noah help me cut up
53:35
potatoes today. He wanted to help me do
53:38
some things around the kitchen, but him
53:39
and Avi are upstairs right now playing.
53:43
So, I'm wondering if I should just get
53:45
started while they're playing um and
53:49
toss it in the oven and go take a
53:51
shower. I don't know yet. But I'm going
53:52
to put the potatoes inside of the air
53:54
fryer. The chicken is going to go in the
53:57
oven. Going to work on this hefty drink
54:01
and then I am going to see you guys in
54:03
the next video. We're going to close it
54:05
out here because after dinner all we do
54:07
is have family time together. Family
54:08
time is so intimate and intentional. So,
54:12
we're going to have some family time
54:14
together, but I truly enjoyed spending
54:16
time with you guys today. I hope that
54:17
you guys enjoyed hanging out with me
54:18
today. We did some catching up. Um,
54:20
showed you guys I've been saying all the
54:22
time, like in the past few videos, like,
54:23
yeah, we're renovating. So, my husband's
54:25
working in the office. At least you guys
54:26
got a chance to see what I was talking
54:28
about with that. We did some homeschool
54:30
updates. Of course, by the way, the math
54:32
book came. So, I'm going to do a full
54:34
homeschool video. It's going to be like
54:36
an unboxing of our curriculum as well as
54:38
how I'm going to be setting up baby
54:40
girls learning plan um all of things.
54:45
So, we'll get into that. And then, as
54:47
mentioned earlier, we're going to do a
54:48
curriculum review for the curriculum
54:50
that we finished back in May or June,
54:52
which was the level two, good and the
54:53
beautiful full review of that. What we
54:55
like, what we didn't like, and all that
54:56
good stuff. Um but yeah, thank you guys
54:59
for hanging out with me. I truly enjoy,
55:03
you know, doing this and creating
55:05
content and it's really great to be able
55:08
to support one another, you know,
55:10
outside of just our immediate circle,
55:12
but even have um a bigger reach to be
55:16
able to inspire, to meet new people, and
55:19
to make a difference in the world. I
55:21
hope that when you guys are here on my
55:23
channel, it is just a breath of fresh
55:25
air, calming, uplifting, positive. I try
55:28
not to make videos if I'm not having a
55:30
great day. And that is not because I'm
55:33
not being, you know, transparent or
55:36
anything because I try to be very
55:38
transparent with you guys. Like if I'm
55:39
not having if I'm not feeling well, I
55:41
might mention it, but I'm not going to
55:42
make a whole video about, hey, I'm in a
55:44
crappy mood. Come along with me while we
55:46
have a crappy mood together. I just
55:49
don't enjoy that. If I have it one of
55:52
those days, I would use it as a learning
55:53
lesson and then come and tell you guys
55:55
like this happened on this day and
55:56
here's what I did to overcome that. Um,
56:00
as opposed to saying, "Hey, let's, you
56:03
know, share this crappy moment
56:05
together." So, I hope that that makes
56:06
sense. Yeah. I hope that I can just
56:08
uplift and inspire you guys um and
56:12
encourage you guys through my faith
56:14
journey. Everything is just a trying
56:16
season just completely led by God, led
56:19
by the Lord. So, I hope yeah that we can
56:22
do this together. If you're new here, go
56:24
ahead and subscribe. Seriously, I would
56:25
love to have you here. If you stayed
56:27
through to the end of this video, I feel
56:28
like you're pretty much already a part
56:30
of the family. So, welcome. And if you
56:33
have been here for a while, hey there,
56:35
comment, say hi. And I love hearing from
56:38
you guys. But again, thank you for
56:40
watching this video. I'm going to take
56:42
my chatty self upstairs soon after we
56:44
get dinner done. And see you guys in the
56:46
next video.
