one thing that I like to do on Sunday to
0:01
just make my week a little bit easier is
0:04
kind of like do a Sunday reset today
0:06
that I'm filming this video it is Sunday
0:08
and I decided to pick up the camera and
0:10
just take you guys along for a day in my
0:12
life I do a little bit of meal planning
0:15
or meal prepping get a brief schedule
0:17
for how I want my week to look clean
0:19
some things laundry is a huge thing that
0:22
sets me up for Success throughout the
0:24
week church just a lot of different
0:26
things that I try to do on Sunday but
0:30
for me a big thing of Sunday reset is
0:32
also resetting like my body my mind all
0:36
the things so I go easy on myself on
0:38
Sundays I used to do like a wool whole
0:41
house clean on Sundays I don't do that
0:43
anymore I just do what I can but the
0:46
main goal is to just set myself up to
0:48
have a good week if possible if I can
0:51
I'm all about making things easier in my
0:54
life as a stay-at-home mom so that is
0:56
what I'm gonna do today I know it's
0:58
easier said than done there are still
1:00
going to be some things that are going
1:02
to be difficult but there are ways that
1:06
we can still find joy in motherhood joy
1:09
and homemaking that is why I create
1:12
content to find ways to encourage to
1:16
motivate to relate to and just help
1:18
other mamas other women other Homemakers
1:21
other families so that we can kind of
1:24
just figure this thing called life out
1:26
together so that you can know and even
1:30
myself know that we're not in this alone
1:32
if you are just looking for another mama
1:34
or another Homemaker that you can relate
1:36
to who just keeps it real realistic I
1:39
invite you to subscribe to my channel I
1:41
post twice weekly and I would love to
1:43
have you here my name is heaven so it's
1:45
10 o'clock in the morning and we're
1:47
about to get up and get ready to go to
1:49
church service starts at 11 o'clock in
1:51
the morning so I'm just making myself
1:53
some coffee then I'm going to sit down
1:54
and say my prayer and then I'm gonna go
1:57
upstairs get Noah dressed get him like
2:00
something light to eat but for a service
2:02
and then we'll head out service is
2:04
literally like five minutes from our
2:05
home so I still have at least a good 30
2:08
to 40 minutes to work with
2:15
foreign
2:16
[Music]
2:55
so I have my coffee and the dishwasher
2:59
is running I don't know I know I did you
3:01
turn in the dishwasher
3:02
you start the dishwasher on yes okay so
3:06
I have to tie the dishwasher off because
3:08
Noah decided that the dishes needed to
3:10
be cleaned this morning but I had my
3:11
coffee and I said my prayer had like a
3:14
little five minute devotion got this kid
3:16
up and he is about to eat some french
3:19
toast sticks it's about 10 30. so once
3:23
he's done eating his French toast sticks
3:24
and he's done with this chocolate milk
3:26
we can head to church you ready for
3:29
church you excited
3:31
what are you excited about
3:34
delicious there's this for church what
3:37
do you want to do at church
3:40
oh he wants to dance and play with
3:43
his friends so we sent him to like the
3:45
little Sunday school room and then we go
3:48
into like um service so in Sunday school
3:51
they do like activities they exercise
3:54
and dance and they just keep like all
3:56
the little kids by age group together
3:58
during service and service is only like
4:00
an hour long so he likes that a lot and
4:02
that's one reason why we actually do
4:04
like this church a lot you don't have to
4:06
have any syrup if you don't want any how
4:08
are your French toast
4:09
[Music]
4:11
death good
4:13
all right well I'm gonna go get my shoes
4:16
on and put on some earrings so you can
4:21
eat your food and I'll be right back
4:23
with your coat and your Mickey bag okay
4:27
okay so I ended up changing my shirt
4:31
[Music]
4:33
but we're finally gonna go ahead and
4:35
head to the car so that we can go to
4:36
church you ready
4:38
yeah yeah
4:40
thank you
4:44
all right let's go say Let's Go Daddy
4:47
[Music]
4:53
so we just got out of church but I'm
4:56
getting ready to run inside the store so
4:57
my husband and Noah they're at home and
5:00
Noah is going to go ahead and take a
5:02
snap but I wanted to go inside the store
5:04
to see what I can find I got a few
5:06
things for Noah's Easter basket already
5:09
but now I just want to throw like little
5:11
knickknacks and treats or just small
5:13
things so I'm gonna go inside of the
5:15
dollar store to see if I can find any
5:17
like little Easter items for him and
5:19
then I need to stop at my mom's to pick
5:21
a couple of things up so I'm doing all
5:23
of this while Noah is napping before I
5:26
go home kind of relaxed do some cleaning
5:28
prep dinner and prepare like a little
5:32
bit of schedule for my upcoming week and
5:36
do my planning and things like that okay
5:38
so I have been gone all day long I have
5:41
this problem where because I don't get
5:43
out of the house often whenever I do
5:45
stop at like a store or I'm out running
5:47
errands I try to get like all of my
5:49
errands done or like if I stop at a
5:51
store I will get like things that I've
5:53
been needing for a little while but
5:54
hadn't gotten because I hadn't left the
5:56
house and then I'll also get things for
5:57
like the future because it's going to be
6:00
a while before I leave again and then
6:02
it's a busy season I spent quite a bit
6:04
of time at my mom's house spending time
6:06
with her because her birthday is on
6:09
Tuesday and then I had to pick up a few
6:12
things so Easter is around the corner
6:14
Noah's birthday is around the corner
6:15
spring break we're getting ready to go
6:17
on vacation in two weeks so there were
6:20
just a few things
6:21
gonna build a plane yes okay we'll build
6:25
one
6:26
um
6:27
so as soon as I got home I went ahead
6:29
and hurried up and put dinner on I still
6:31
gotta clean up just a lot so that is
6:34
what happened when you lose track of
6:35
time you find yourself scrabbling so
6:38
Italian ground turkey then I got some
6:40
water on back here so I can do some
6:42
spaghetti noodles and we're just gonna
6:43
have spaghetti
6:45
um I'm also going to show you why what I
6:47
was able to find I gotta go through this
6:49
battle I want you to look okay okay go
6:52
over there so you can't see so now I'm
6:54
just going to show you all what I got
6:55
for his Easter basket from the dollar
6:57
store today and then when the rest of
6:59
his stuff come in from like Target and
7:01
Amazon then I'll do like a full Easter
7:04
basket haul but I do want to say
7:07
try the dollar stores first because
7:09
there were some things that I purchased
7:11
from like Target Amazon and things that
7:14
I saw at Walmart that were a higher
7:17
price tag and they kind of had the exact
7:18
same thing and some even better looking
7:20
ones at the dollar store I like to shop
7:23
online because like I said I don't leave
7:25
often because I'm not always wanting to
7:27
take Noah but if you can check your
7:30
local dollar store first before you
7:32
build your kids Easter basket so let me
7:35
stir the spaghetti
7:37
first
7:39
then I'll show what I got
7:42
foreign
7:44
[Music]
7:48
coloring and activity book with like 25
7:50
stickers and I love that it's like
7:52
spring themed so I thought that this
7:54
would be pretty cool to put in his
7:55
Easter basket I think it'll be good past
7:58
Easter because a lot of times like the
8:01
Easter books and things like that are
8:03
good only for Easter and I've been
8:05
wanting him to do these connect the dots
8:07
pictures more but the even bigger one
8:10
would be even easier for him to follow
8:12
because he can find the numbers in order
8:14
easier
8:16
um he loves stickers it's got a giant
8:18
color pages like it has a lot of
8:20
learning stuff in here but also coloring
8:22
in the lines if that's something that
8:25
like your little one is still trying to
8:26
do learning to draw pictures like it's a
8:29
lot of good stuff inside this book and
8:31
it's pretty huge so I got him that for
8:34
his Easter basket they also had a ton of
8:37
little Easter ears so I thought the
8:40
brown ones with the blue ears were cute
8:42
he likes cotton candy I completely
8:45
understand
8:46
cotton candy but at least it's not like
8:48
the big pack so I like that these come
8:49
with three small packs that way you can
8:52
kind of monitor how much they're eating
8:53
you're not eating too much at once and
8:55
then he's never had one of these before
8:57
but I got a feeling he's gonna like it
8:59
it's a really cool like kind of fidget
9:00
or sensory item like a yo-yo ball or
9:03
something I got an Easter basket wrapper
9:07
to wrap his basket with this Mickey
9:10
activity egg with like stickers and
9:13
activities inside of there have some
9:15
cute little plastic cups I love getting
9:17
like little themed cups it's not my
9:19
favorite it's not spill proof it's not
9:21
insulated it's plastic so it's not going
9:24
to last very long but for a dollar I
9:26
thought it was cute he'll enjoy it for a
9:27
little while these are the fruities
9:29
candy that I got to fill up his like
9:31
plastic egg or whatever I got um a
9:34
little NightLight I like a little heart
9:37
in the eye he's been needing another
9:38
NightLight so I just picked up that one
9:40
some more Play-Doh they have these like
9:43
jumbo cute little plastic bunnies that
9:45
you can feel so this is what I'll be
9:47
putting his candy in so I'm gonna put
9:50
these inside of the bunnies so I got him
9:52
these for Easter last year and they were
9:54
so good like I'm pretty sure I'm gonna
9:56
take two of these because I got four so
9:58
I'm gonna put those in there the
10:00
chocolate covered tapes two of these
10:03
little egg pieces these are normally at
10:05
Target and they're normally more than
10:08
just a dollar so iPhones for a dollar
10:12
at the um Dollar Tree let him eat bubble
10:15
gum if I monitor him so
10:19
they also had egg-shaped chalk which is
10:22
also good because it's starting to warm
10:24
up where he can go outside and like use
10:26
his chalk and things like that outside
10:28
so I got him those as well I also picked
10:31
up these little wildflower seeds because
10:34
these are pretty expensive if you get
10:36
them online and then they go out of
10:38
stock like in the springtime so if you
10:40
can find them in the wintertime then get
10:42
them everybody doesn't like wildflower
10:43
seeds because it attracts like bees but
10:46
it also attracts butterflies and looks
10:48
so pretty it attract birds and all of
10:51
those so I like these so I got a few
10:53
more of those I love to scatter them in
10:54
the back of my yard to have like
10:57
beautiful flowers and butterflies and
10:58
birds out there so this is everything
11:00
that I got from the dollar store and
11:02
then I'll show you guys when it arrives
11:05
when I got him offline
11:13
[Music]
11:19
thank you
11:22
[Music]
11:26
foreign
11:29
[Music]
11:43
the family room is clean pretty much
11:46
most of the house is clean so I'm happy
11:48
with that so now I'm just going to go
11:50
ahead and do a little bit of like
11:52
planning my week out and then I will
11:54
fold up some laundry so we can have
11:57
clean clothes for you know the upcoming
11:59
week to come finish cooking dinner I
12:01
still got to take these bags upstairs so
12:04
I have my meal planner my budget book my
12:08
lesson planner
12:10
my entire planner
12:14
um and then I also have this one my
12:17
content planner that I keep on my desk
12:19
so here I do like a monthly spread but
12:24
then every week I'll revisit it and then
12:27
you know edit it a little bit so I do
12:29
have for instance a February calendar
12:33
completely written out and then I did my
12:36
weekly planning for for instance Monday
12:39
we're going to be eating the leftover
12:41
spaghetti because I'm making spaghetti
12:42
today so tomorrow we'll have some left I
12:44
always make enough to have some left
12:45
over one way that I just make life
12:47
easier for me but for breakfast we'll be
12:49
having oatmeal because I work out on
12:51
Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays so I
12:53
normally like to have like oatmeal eggs
12:54
or something like that on days that I
12:56
work out so I have oatmeal for breakfast
12:59
on Monday and then I'm gonna have my
13:01
husband help me meal prep some salmon
13:03
for the entire week I have for lunch so
13:06
salmon for lunch or a sandwich Tuesdays
13:09
I'm not working out we'll have pancakes
13:11
for breakfast then I'm gonna do some
13:13
meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner
13:16
um and then for lunch that meal prep
13:17
salmon for Wednesday we're going to be
13:20
doing oatmeal or eggs we're gonna have
13:23
leftovers for dinner the meatloaf
13:25
leftovers or we're gonna go to my mom's
13:27
because her birthday is on Tuesday we
13:30
may have dinner with her on Wednesday I
13:32
don't know
13:33
um so yeah that's just how it goes we've
13:34
got baked chicken for dinner on Friday
13:36
Saturday we may eat out Thursday we've
13:38
got chicken sandwiches that my husband
13:40
like to make like the crispy chicken
13:41
sandwiches so that is how I planned out
13:43
my entire week and that took me all of
13:45
maybe one to two minutes to do so this
13:48
is how I plan out my stuff I have my
13:50
budget book which I won't go into depth
13:53
but I will give you guys an example of
13:55
how the budget book looks so basically
13:58
you will put up there your income your
14:02
regular payments like anything that you
14:03
have to make payments regularly on here
14:06
you'll put like your bills and any
14:09
payments that come directly out of your
14:11
bank account here is what your savings
14:13
balance is or money that you're putting
14:16
into your savings and then the money
14:17
that you have left over down here you
14:19
can just like keep track of your
14:20
day-to-day spend so every day you want
14:22
to put the date what you bought and the
14:25
amount that you have left over it's just
14:26
good to help you track things and then
14:29
in the back you can put like extra
14:31
expenses that you have for that month
14:33
that's not recurring some notes that you
14:35
have and so that is how I do my
14:38
budgeting and then if you want you can
14:40
do cash envelopes inside of these little
14:42
pockets so I just have a large array of
14:44
different like planning that I like to
14:46
do for the week so yeah it's got all of
14:48
my planning together done so at this
14:51
point I am going to go ahead and just
14:53
start finding some laundry so Noah is
14:55
actually asleep now after my planning I
14:58
went ahead and made sure that I fed him
14:59
dinner so that he can get some sleep
15:00
because I got home a little bit late
15:02
like I got home around six o'clock so
15:04
Noah is asleep and I'm gonna follow some
15:08
clothes while he is sleeping he's
15:10
hanging out here in my room
15:12
[Music]
15:22
these shoes
15:26
[Music]
15:41
[Music]
15:50
so it is night time and we ate dinner we
15:54
showered and now it is time for us to
15:56
end our day so I have my book here and
15:59
this is the book that I'm currently
16:00
reading I'm more like the last one or
16:01
two chapters it's called the
16:03
well-watered woman I love this book it's
16:06
by Gretchen saffles so I'm gonna sit
16:08
down drink some tea and read my book and
16:10
that is how I am going to end my Sunday
16:13
I am super happy with as much as I was
16:15
able to accomplish today not just inside
16:17
of the home but outside of the home too
16:19
there's always things that it has to do
16:21
inside so much that I won't even attempt
16:24
to leave the house so that is why I do
16:26
like Amazon shopping Walmart plus
16:28
grocery shopping just all of them online
16:31
shopping because not only does it help
16:32
me like to not buy everything that I see
16:34
on the shelves but it also helps me to
16:36
not have to leave the house especially
16:38
during the cold Seasons like the winter
16:40
months here up north where I stay I
16:42
think it's pretty cold and I don't
16:43
always want to go out in the cold let
16:45
alone bring Noah out there so I do love
16:47
my online shopping but sometimes being a
16:50
stay-at-home mom can become suffocating
16:52
if you don't have many opportunities to
16:55
get out so I was able to get some fresh
16:56
air and that was wonderful I truly
16:59
enjoyed that able to see my mom get some
17:02
things done run some errands and still
17:04
do my planning to set my week up for
17:07
Success get some cleaning done prepare
17:10
dinner just a lot of things I was able
17:12
to accomplish today and it wasn't too
17:14
much on me so that's the biggest thing
17:17
it wasn't super relaxing but it was not
17:19
exhausting or it's hiring I can say that
17:22
it was just productive and so I hope
17:24
that your day was just as productive as
17:26
mine just as peaceful as mine and that
17:28
maybe you were able to as well you know
17:30
set yourself self up for a successful
17:32
week or maybe this video will motivate
17:35
you to you know maybe start planning out
17:37
your weeks on Sundays finding things
17:39
that you like to do ways that you like
17:42
to enjoy your Sundays reset your mind
17:44
reset your body and set your wake up for
17:47
a success if you did enjoy this video or
17:49
you found it to be helpful and
17:50
motivational I would hope that you would
17:52
like it and give it a thumbs up for the
17:54
sake of Channel growth and so that I can
17:56
get this content out to other families
17:58
it also helps me to know what type of
18:00
content you all like so that I can know
18:02
what type of content to continue
18:03
creating if you guys don't like the
18:06
video or comment there is a good chance
18:09
that I might assume that you don't
18:11
necessarily like this type of content
18:13
I'm still trying to figure out what you
18:16
are like so that I can create more of
18:18
that because I want to be able to help
18:20
people I want to be able to help Mom
18:21
women and families with my channel so if
18:25
you like this video let me know or
18:27
comment some type of content that you
18:29
are interested in seeing days in the
18:31
Life relatable content grocery hauls
18:34
organization home cleaning shopping
18:36
costs these are all things that I really
18:38
enjoy doing so if that is something that
18:41
you're interested in as well and you
18:42
like all those things and you're new
18:44
here definitely subscribe to my channel
18:46
