I've had my breakfast. If you've watched my video recently, you'll know that I'm trying to do low carb again

I'm not doing a strict version of it. I'm just trying to stick to 130 grams of carbs or less a day

I'm not really counting calories every day, but I'm trying to watch what I eat

So I'm trying not snack in between meals because I have type 2 diabetes

I've always wanted a cafeteria and I've never had one. But I got this, my sister-in-law gave us this coffee

And it's from Marks and Spencers. And it's a Christmas ground coffee blend

Which incidentally, I'm post-menopause now. I had a total hysterectomy when I was 48

which is 12 years ago. And I didn't take HRT for the first five years

The doctor just never offered it to us. And I was really bad with like night sweats and hot flushes

even though I was classed as post menopause. Because obviously the periods had stopped and everything

So I asked about the HRT and she gave us them. I can't remember what they're called now

but I mean it just stopped the night sweats and it stopped the hot flushes

and I don't have as many mood swings although I do have a few Warren would vouch for that

so I'd still take an HRT but like every time I've gone for the checkup since

they've said oh you know you should start thinking about stopping the HRT

well I don't have any history of breast cancer in my family

and I just thought well just because I'm postmenopause why should I think about stop and taking them

I'm not going to grow estrogen back, so I'm still going to have the symptoms

We watched a film yesterday called The Founder. It's about the guys who started McDonald's

It was quite an eye-opener, really, because I didn't know much about it. The two McDonald brothers didn't want to have a global franchise

but this guy who came along, I can't remember his name now, he wanted to turn it into a franchise thing

and be world-dominating and things like that. And he wasn't a very nice person, actually

It ended up that the two McDonald guys had to give up their restaurant
