Today I'm taking a look at this Mira Cedar arm blood pressure monitor with Bluetooth that Mira

went ahead and sent to me. So I want to do a quick unboxing, show you what's in here

how to set it up, and also give my first impressions of this. So upon opening the box

we're greeted with this over here. It's just going to be one page quick start guide that also gives

us the QR code to go ahead and download the app, which I'll do shortly. And then right underneath

that, we're going to be getting a user manual. On the left compartment is the blood pressure

monitor itself and here we can see there's going to be three buttons a bluetooth button a start

stop button and this other button on the bottom there's going to be nothing on the right side

we're going to have the outlet up top there's nothing on the other side we're going to have

one more outlet here and on the back side there's going to be additional information

on the blood pressure monitor followed by battery compartment and we're going to need

four triple a batteries which thankfully do come included and there's actually going to be

two sets of them and finally the mini usb cable and right here we're going to have the arm sleeve

and the sleeve itself shows us how to align it correctly and also what the maximum circumference is which in this case would be eight and three quarters inches to about 16 and a half inches So I installed the batteries and downloaded the MiRA health app So when I opened

it up, here's what we get. It says welcome to MiRA. I'll go ahead and accept this. I'll confirm

Bluetooth authority. I'll allow. MiRA has not yet been connected yet. Start connecting now. Okay

so I can press add device. And here it goes through these three different ones. So this is

going to be Mira Cedar series. So it's going to be this one right here. And then I'll start

connection. It says press and hold Bluetooth until the Bluetooth icon appears on screen and flashes

Perfect. And now let's see what the app tells us. So we have data, trend. And of course

there's no data. There's no trend right now since I didn't go ahead and measure my blood pressure yet
