US, Phoenix: Phoenix 1 In Custody 2 Hospitalized Following Extrication Crash.

Phoenix, United States - May 02, 2026 05/02/2026 02:35 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a collision with trapped occupants near 35th Avenue and El Camino Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a two-vehicle collision involving a sedan and a pickup truck. Firefighters arrived and extricated two trapped occupants from the involved sedan. Both occupants were transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. A male was taken into custody following a field sobriety test. A hard closure was established for 35th Avenue while the traffic investigation unfolded.
