US, Los Angeles: Westwood Fire Engulfs Vacant Home Investigation Underway.

Los Angeles, United States - September 24, 2026 09/24/2026 02:07 am GMT-0700 Westwood – A fire broke out at a vacant single-story house on the 1500 block of Veteran Avenue this evening. Upon arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department found the structure heavily engulfed in flames. The blaze extended to the attic, resulting in the complete destruction of the first floor. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
