US, Los Angeles: Vermont-Slauson Motel Fire.

Los Angeles, United States - August 20, 2026 08/20/2026 03:48 am GMT-0700 VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A fire was reported this morning at a motel located on South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. Crews arrived on scene shortly before 4 a.m. and found flames coming from unit number 9. The fire was quickly contained to that unit, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
