US, Los Angeles: Westlake Mercedes Crashes Into LAPD Patrol Vehicle.

Los Angeles, United States - May 08, 2026 05/08/2026 12:05 am GMT-0700 WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department Rampart units were on the scene of a traffic collision investigation at the intersection of West 8th Street and South Lake Street early this morning when a black Mercedes crashed into a patrol vehicle that was conducting traffic control. No officers were injured in the incident. The female driver of the Mercedes was evaluated and released at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
