Workers, local authorities, hotel staff and environmental organizations have been carrying out daily cleanup operations to remove the seaweed from the shoreline. Sargassum has become a recurring environmental challenge along Mexico's Caribbean coast, requiring continuous efforts to keep beaches accessible for residents and visitors.
