Military personnel and vehicles were deployed across the coastal state as authorities coordinated search-and-rescue efforts and maintained security in earthquake-affected areas. National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez said more than 5,000 people were injured and over 15,000 displaced by the earthquakes.
