According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the two men were found during search operations carried out with the support of local residents and figures from nearby Ain Jerfa. Anadolu’s correspondent said the body of 20-year-old Radi Mohammed al-Saqaan was found at the scene, while Ahmed Abdullah Hadid was found seriously injured. The Lebanese Red Cross transported the body and the wounded man to Rashaya Governmental Hospital in western Bekaa, where the injured man was admitted for treatment. The incident came amid continued Israeli attacks on Lebanese towns and villages despite a ceasefire agreement announced on April 17 and later extended. Since March 2, Israel has carried out a large-scale offensive on Lebanon that has killed 3,042 people and wounded 9,301 others, and displaced more than 1.6 million, about one-fifth of the country’s population, according to Lebanese officials.
