Lebanon - July 30, 2026 Video filmed by the Israel Defense Forces shows the interior of a multi-level underground tunnel complex beneath the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon. Bodycam-style footage moves through narrow staircases and dimly lit corridors inside the concrete structure. The camera reveals rooms with scattered debris, metal fencing or cages, and open crates containing multiple assault rifles and other weapons. The footage shows storage areas and passageways lined with rough concrete walls throughout the underground network. The Israel Defense Forces stated that several key underground tunnels in the network beneath the Beaufort Ridge had been dismantled. The tunnel system was described as a central command center used by Hezbollah to direct fire toward IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians. The complex was described as a strategic Hezbollah stronghold consisting of several underground levels built over the course of two decades.
