Lebanon: IDF Uncovers Huge Hezbollah Weapons Cache Hidden Inside Southern Lebanon Tunnels.

Lebanon - September 10, 2026 IDF troops uncovered dozens of weapons inside Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure in the Ali al-Taher Ridge, according to the IDF. The weapons were described as intended for attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops. Bodycam footage shows soldiers moving through a narrow rock-cut tunnel containing blue barrels, a metal cart, debris and cylindrical munitions. A soldier is also seen inspecting a large wooden crate marked in Hebrew. Inside are dark cylindrical tubes and other items. The tunnels were located beneath the Ali al-Taher Ridge near Nabatieh, inside the area Israel calls its security zone, about 10–15 kilometers from the Israeli border. The 36th Division, Commando Brigade and Yahalom spent weeks clearing two main underground routes after announcing operational control above and below ground on Sept. 3. The site was described as a Badr Unit command center built over about 20 years with Iranian funding. It included command rooms, weapons stores, generators, living quarters, a kitchen and showers. Reported caches included dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles and UAVs, machine guns, anti-tank missiles, hundreds of mines and explosive devices, and RPG rounds. On Sept. 10, the IDF demolished the network using more than 1,100 metric tons of explosives.
