According to the IDF, the network included living quarters, water and electrical systems, and weapons capabilities intended for use against Israeli troops and civilians. The military said the site was located near Lebanese Armed Forces activity and claimed Hezbollah prevented Lebanese forces from addressing it despite a request made under the Israel-Lebanon agreement.
