Italy: Woman Rescued By Helicopter From Remote Forest Area In Italy.

Brunate, Italy - June 07, 2026 A woman in difficulty was rescued by helicopter after becoming stranded in a remote and difficult-to-access forest area in Brunate, in the province of Como. Firefighters carried out the operation using an aerial rescue intervention to reach the woman in the wooded terrain. The rescue was performed by the crew of helicopter Drago VF153, which carried out a winch operation involving both descent and hoisting maneuvers. The woman was safely recovered during the operation and brought out of the area without further reported complications.
