Iran: U.S. Forces Launch Massive Wave Of Strikes Against Iranian Targets.
Jul 13, 2026
Iran - July 11, 2026 U.S. Central Command completed a third round of strikes against Iran this week on July 11, holding Iranian forces responsible for attacking another commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz. American forces struck about 140 Iranian military targets using precision munitions delivered by land-based and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels. The targets included missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communication networks, and coastal surveillance locations. Across three nights of strikes this week, CENTCOM attacked more than 300 targets under orders from the Commander in Chief to reduce Iran’s ability to carry out attacks against civilian mariners and commercial vessels moving through the strait. Commercial vessel traffic through the critical international maritime corridor continues. Since early May, U.S. forces have helped support the successful transit of more than 800 commercial vessels and 400 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
