Gaza Mourners Bury Recovered Palestinians.

Gaza - October 01, 2026 Palestinian mourners carry the shrouded remains of Palestinians during a mass funeral in Gaza City, Gaza Strip, on October 1, 2026. The funeral was held for 105 Palestinians, including women and children, whose remains were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings in the Al-Taj area of the Al-Yarmouk neighbourhood after remaining buried there since Israeli strikes hit the area in October 2023. Relatives and local residents attended funeral prayers and burial ceremonies following the recovery operation, as teams continued searching areas of Gaza City where people remain missing beneath buildings destroyed during the war.
