The wide, expansive beaches of Qinhuangdao in northern China's Hebei Province have become popular as a wellness destination with activities, like shell collecting, tailored to different age groups. In Nanchang, of east China's Jiangxi Province, forest stream hikes, canyon rafting and trips to water parks are attracting families and students. Besides water related activities, China's cooler mountain regions are also seeing an increase in visitors. Places like the Liupan Mountain National Forest Park in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
