Hey there, everyone! Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're going to share with you a simple and delicious kombucha recipe that you can make right at home.
Kombucha is a fermented tea that's packed with probiotics and other health benefits. It's also a great way to reduce your sugar intake, as it's naturally sweetened with sugar and tea.
To make your own kombucha, you'll need:
- 1 gallon of filtered water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast)
- 1 cup of starter kombucha
First, brew the tea by steeping the tea bags in hot water. Once it's cooled down, add the sugar and stir until it's dissolved. Next, add the SCOBY and starter kombucha. Cover the jar with a coffee filter and secure it with a rubber band.
Now, let the kombucha ferment for about 2 weeks. After that, you can enjoy your homemade kombucha!
