I'm here at AUSA and I'm going to show you some of the cool things that the Army could be using sometime soon

So, let's check it out. AUSA is one of the biggest Army conferences in the country

Every year, military leaders, defense companies, and industry experts come together in Washington, D.C

to discuss the future of the Army and showcase some of the latest military technology, weapons, and equipment

How about a semi-automatic 203 launcher that can also be used to shoot down drones

Come check this out. This is the 40 millimeter PGS medium velocity system, which is used for counter defilade and

also for anti-personnel. Right now, a lot of its usage is potentially with counter UAS

where we could have multiple special munitions here, smoke, a loom, and also

tracers. But in the red magazine here is HEDP, which is HE dual purpose use for units to use

So the purpose also is to have this throughout all the Army. So every unit and every soldier

could have one of these for counter defilade anti Shooting down a tiny little drone would be very difficult to do with your M4 But imagine if there was something to assist you to be able to shoot that thing down check this out this is a smash 2000l with smart shooter the capabilities are endless with this guy right we got five capabilities with red dot at the

end of the day that never ever takes this rifle out of the fight you've got day and night mode

and you've got ground and drone mode what this does is it allows the shooter behind the rifle

to have way more capabilities and be able to be higher accuracy with higher lethality. If you never

press this locking capability, it's a red dot, zeroed at 25 meters and confirmed at 100. If you do

press the locking capability, it looks like this. You will get on target, you will press and release

that button, it will cage your target or threat. At this point, you will go off safe, pin your trigger

to the rear, and bring your crosshair onto the firing solution. The system allows you to be able

to hit every target with a higher accuracy and higher lethality. Soldiers need ways to adapt to changes in the threat on the battlefield and this might

be a way to be able to do that. Mr. Sled is built on our lightweight reconfigurable integrated weapons platform or lightweight

RIP which has legacy from the Sergeant Stout program and it's configured for defeating

group 1 through 4 UAS threats. It is completely reconfigurable by soldiers in the field and is light enough to be mounted

on an ISV, which is perfect for the Army's M-Shore at increment 4 needs

And it can be configured with radars, direct fire weapons, missiles, really the full gambit

of counter UAS defense mechanisms
