Kayaking Ontario's Bon Echo Provincial Park | Paddle Tales
Jan 12, 2026
Bon Echo is a small and extremely beautiful Provincial Park in Ontario's Highlands, which draws in visitors from all over thanks to the world class canoe tripping and kayak touring that it offers. The main attraction is the stunning rock walls and dramatic cliff faces on Lake Mazinaw, which bear hundreds of Indigenous pictographs. Yet, despite its allure, and the fact that I’ve literally driven past Lake Mazinaw in Bon Echo hundreds of times, this is one of those places that I’ve just never found time to stop and explore.
