We’re going to the port of Quebec from our cruise that started in Boston. We’re staying in the center of Old Town Quebec near the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. This is the hub of restaurants and hotels. Citadelle of Québec. It’s a 37-acre star-shaped fortress. It was constructed during a period of political tension following the War of 1812 to serve as a final refuge for the British garrison and to ensure control over the city.
