I need not just not
0:03
not a mental, also a break. Hey guys, Ivan here, and in today's video
0:08
we got something really, really interesting. As you can see, Ourskalechinsky finally broke down
0:16
If I was to ask you guys, which two bodybuilders were the most active
0:20
in the past couple of years? Which of them did the most shows
0:24
the most appearances were the most active, even on social media, but also on an actual competitive bodybuilding stage
0:32
you would have to say that those two guys are these two right here
0:36
Samson Douda and Urs Klitsky. Not too long ago, Fouadabier actually made a podcast with these two guys
0:43
They were both weak out of Arnold Classic, and they were both defending their stance that bodybuilders should compete more often
0:49
should do more guest posing, should be more active on social media. They were saying that it was the best approach in terms of business or health even
0:57
also for their careers as competitive bodybuilders? But what about health? Like, you know, a lot of guys are like
1:04
I don't want to compete too often because I need to get my body a rest. My blood work was way better
1:09
when I stayed with my weight in range, you know? Some guys are like
1:15
they're only competing a couple times because it's more advantageous to them career-wise
1:20
Well, I argue with that. Boy, is it really, though? Many of them guys are take a year off
1:25
How often they always come back? Yeah, well, look and go, Oh, they change everything, or do you look and go, I see a little bit of improvement
1:31
So you get the idea. The whole podcast was on this topic, whether you should compete more or less often
1:36
And both of these guys were strongly defending their stance. However, things have changed
1:41
First, as you guys know, we had Samson Dauara having a meltdown on his Instagram
1:46
saying that he was going to retire, that he's going to go to the hospital, that his body is failing, firing his coach
1:51
And there were these stories that I took a screenshot from, where he was looking at food videos and just couldn't
1:57
way to end the season. And so today, or yesterday, we got a video from Uursklajinsky where he says that he needs
2:05
a break. Mental break, physical break, let me play this video for you guys and then I'm going to comment
2:10
on it. We had a long, a long, a fireballade. I need not only not only a
2:16
, not only a great, not even a video videos, not for Instagram or
2:22
no new TikToks in the next time to out of the time always 100% give in what bodybuilding
2:28
what the content producing, what extremely work is, has me extremely stressed
2:34
that through under the pressure and yeah now now now a little pause to make would be part of
2:45
...the work... ...all right, so you heard... Actually, there is another part of this video
2:50
We're going to take a look at that as well. But in this one, he basically says that he needs a break from social media
2:56
and from training and from bodybuilding. Apparently he's not even going to be training this week
3:03
Is it going to be only one week or more? probably more and he's not going to post anything on his social media, on his Instagram
3:10
on his YouTube and on his TikTok. So there will be nothing on oars on social media and this guy was like probably the most active
3:16
guy on social media, one of D, one of D for sure, and he needs to take some rest
3:22
Now as far as competing, I don't remember when this guy took a break last time
3:27
I mean, he did so many freaking shows. He was doing Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia every single year for the past, I don't know
3:34
three years or more, and he was also doing post-Arnold and post-Olympia shows as well
3:39
That is a whole lot of shows, guys. For example, last year he did that Texas stage show after the Mr. Olympia, which he won
3:47
and then also he went to Czech Republic and he competed in Prague Pro as well, which he also won
3:53
Was it the healthiest thing for his body? Probably not. Was it the best thing for him mentally
3:59
Also probably not. Was it advantageous, though, for his career? Well, at that point, it probably was because he was winning, but if it cost him a placement
4:09
in the next show he's doing, a big show, such as Iron Classic, is it then
4:14
Is there reason for him placing so low at the Iron Classic Ohio or even worse at the
4:18
Iron Classic UK, the fact that he did too many shows in the year prior
4:23
Well, it very well could be. It could be because he did look fright
4:28
He did look like he was tired, his body was tired, and mentally he was
4:33
He was probably too tired as well to keep pushing to actually bring the best out of his physique
4:39
Was this horse's best? No, it definitely wasn't. Arnold UK was a bit different story
4:45
But at that show, he also lost to Brian. He actually placed the lower than Brian Ainsley for the first time in I don't know how many years
4:53
And that's also something Ours comments on. Let me show you. Olympia it just one step and then two steps forward then two steps forward then Alright that very interesting Goose basically says that he got very angry and like very hungry because he lost to
5:29
Brion because they put Brian ahead of him at this show. Also he thinks that this was his best ever
5:37
Was it really? There is a lot of people who believe that Brian should have placed ahead of Wurz at the Arlen Classic
5:43
Ohio but Wurz improved a lot for the Arnold UK and not a lot of people thought he would have placed lower than Brion
5:51
However, Ours beat Brian at the Ohio and then he lost to him at the Arnold UK, which was really confusing
5:58
Personally, I could see an argument for Brian beating Ours because of his upper body
6:03
fullness and conditioning, but I would never give it to Brion because of the legs, because he
6:08
has no legs. As he aged, his legs went down and down and down in size and today, like he has no sweep
6:16
basically, literally zero sweep. And that's just throwing me off way too much. So in my opinion
6:21
Ors should he placed ahead of Brion? But was this his best really? Because he feels like it was
6:27
Personally, I don't really think so. I think he did look good. He looked great for his standards
6:33
even. But I think he was sharper and just more fresh in some of his earlier shows. For example
6:39
here you can see 2003 Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia. And even though he wasn't exactly blasting full
6:46
He was just really hard, really sharp. He really showed a lot of details
6:51
Conditioning was great, and his classic lines, his silhouette, his shape and proportions were all exaggerated because of this conditioning
6:59
this peak that he was bringing last year. This year, something was wrong
7:04
Something was way off. At the other classic UK case you can see right here, he did improve significantly
7:10
He definitely came in a lot fuller, but with that fullness he lost some of that conditioning
7:15
some of that sharpness. And I think that's probably why he lost this show. He wasn't in his signature condition
7:21
He was off for his standards. I'm sure all of you guys know who Ors' coach is
7:26
It's Stefan Kynes. And you can say that Ors kind of made him popular, you know, made his name
7:32
I mean, Worse is definitely one of the more popular, the most followed bodybuilders today
7:36
And his coach was in so many of his videos. So that's why, at least me, I know about this guy
7:42
Yeah, he coached some other guys. but I think he made his name through Ours. However, he also prepped Ours' biggest competition this season
7:52
Wesley Wissers and Wesley beat Ours And how does Ours feel about that That not something we going to go into today Because he didn say anything about it We have no information But I think it pretty safe to assume that he not exactly the happiest about it
8:07
I know I wouldn't be. I mean, of course, he can't say anything, but I'm sure he's not exactly super happy about it
8:13
Anyways, if you were thinking that maybe it was a coaching issue and that's why Urs was off
8:20
it was not. Because the same guy coached Wesley and Wesley came in at 101%
8:25
And Urs was just way, way off. I was wondering why this was, but I guess now we got an answer
8:33
It's all the shows that he did so far. He was just burnt out, just like Samson. He just couldn't do it anymore
8:40
And now he's going to take a step back. So no, Ors is not retiring. Yeah, he needs a break, but it's only to take a step back so he can make two steps forward
8:50
And I spoke about this earlier too. I thought Ors needs a break if he wants to remember
8:55
really bring in his 100% and not only in terms of peaking, right, but also by improving his physique
9:03
Yeah, I know, he doesn't have much room left, but he doesn't need to grow like, I don't know
9:07
a couple of inches on his arms. He just needs a little bit more detail, if you ask me, and he's going to look so much better
9:14
So right now, I don't really see this guy surpassing Ramondino and Wesley Wissers, but who knows
9:21
I mean, look at him right here next to Chris Bumstead. I mean, this guy has like crazy classic shape, you know, in terms of the small waist and good proportions, good symmetry and stuff like that
9:31
With those freaking legs as well as a dominant body part, he has a lot going for him
9:36
In my opinion, he just needs some time off to relax, to let his body relax and his mind as well
9:42
So he can push hard again, very hard with a lot of passion and just focus on improving
9:48
Is he going to have enough time to refresh until the Mr. Olympia 2024
9:52
I don't know. I don't think so. I think it's not enough time. In my opinion, he should take a whole year off now
10:00
I mean, he was already qualified for the Mr. Olympia. He didn't need to do the Euro Classic, Ohio or UK
10:06
Those two shows brought him nothing. Nothing good, at least. It is what it is now. Should he do
10:12
the Mr. Olympia? Maybe not, but I'm sure he will do it. Anyways, we'll see what he can do at
10:18
the Mr. Olympia this year. If you guys think he can beat Wesley Wissers or challenge Ramondino
10:24
Tell me in the comment section down below. If you don't think so, tell me that as well
10:28
And do you think a year off would actually help him or is he maxed out in terms of potential
10:34
Whatever you guys think, tell me down below in the comment section. Like this video if you enjoyed it. And for more videos like this, subscribe to my channel, guys
