A couple of days ago, I was officially fired from my job — not because I did something wrong, but because I posted gut health videos on TikTok and started working on a gut health business called Gut Elite. Yup. That’s really what happened. Apparently, there were “liability issues” with the university and hospital where I worked. Even though everything I shared was scientifically accurate, they didn’t want to deal with the risk of me talking publicly about health. So instead of supporting me for spreading valuable information, they decided to let me go. It’s tough.
