4:03
electrical
4:05
engineering Life as a student at

of computer
4:57
chip it was called a GPU
5:00
Graphics processing
5:02
unit gpus are special because they can
5:06
process visual information faster than
5:08
other
5:10
chips Jensen believed this idea could
5:13
change the future of
5:15
technology the early days of Nvidia were
5:19
not

Nvidia improve and become a leader in
6:32
the tech
6:34
world at first nvidia's gpus were used
6:38
mostly for
6:40
gaming but Jensen saw something
6:43
bigger he realized that gpus could be
6:47
used for other purposes like scientific
6:51
research Health Care and artificial

intelligence
6:56
AI under Jensen's leadership and media
7:00
began working in these new
7:02
areas their gpus became important tools
7:06
for solving big
7:08
problems for example scientists used
7:12
invidious technology to study diseases
7:16
and create new
7:18
medicines AI researchers used gpus to
7:22
build systems like self-driving
7:25
cars in
7:27
2016 Nvidia made its first AI
7:32
supercomputer this was a big step
