Turning Point USA hosted its "All-American Halftime Show" on Super Bowl Sunday as a counter to Bad Bunny's performance. It also doubled as a tribute to its late founder, Charlie Kirk.  Kid Rock headlined the livestreamed show, having promised fans in a statement to "play great songs for folks who love America." The concert aired from a soundstage with a small audience. Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett, each played a few songs for the crowd. The show opened with a presenter saying, "This one's for you, Charlie," followed by an electric guitar rendition of the US national anthem. Lee Brice performed a new politically charged song, featuring lyrics including, “little boys ain’t little girls,” and, “It ain’t easy being country in this country nowadays.” He dedicated the song to Kirk, saying, “Charlie, you gave people microphones so they could say what was on their minds.” Kid Rock performed 'Til You Can't,' and even added new lyrics inspired by Kirk: "You can give your life to Jesus, and he'll give you a second chance."
