Neil Young has revealed that he's boycotting Apple and Verizon for supporting US President Donald Trump, just days after he criticized Amazon and Jeff Bezos for the same reason.  In a post on his blog, the Neil Young Archives, the musician said he's ditching his Verizon phone for T-Mobile because "Verizon is a supporter of Trump, with big $." He wrote, "I am trying to not support the companies that support the regime with huge donations, just to cover their own asses, while people are being shot." Young currently uses an Apple computer, but he plans to stop getting upgrades. He also criticized Apple's CEO Tim Cook for "falling over backwards to support the regime." "I will sue Apple if my computer doesn't work without the new costly upgrade," Young added. Young shared the contact details of CEOs at 11 major companies, such as Amazon and Meta, calling on people to speak out against their "business with ICE."  During a Zoom chat with premium members of his blog, Young also admitted that he has no interest in making a biopic about his life. “I’d rather make another record.”
