Following the deadly murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, many celebrities are using their platforms to condemn ICE, making speeches on the red carpet, and posting on social media, urging people to keep speaking out about the violence in Minnesota and nationwide. Billie Eilish criticized ICE after Good’s killing, sharing posts on social media, including a graphic calling ICE a “federally funded and supported terrorist group” that has been “murdering innocent people.” Ellen DeGeneres posted a video on Instagram saying, “I am so sorry for what is happening in Minneapolis and our country, really, but specifically Minneapolis right now.” Jenna Ortega addressed the violence while attending the Sundance Film Festival, saying, “It’s hard to be somewhere like this and wear nice outfits and talk about film, when something so ugly is happening right next to us.” Pedro Pascal has also shared multiple infographics on Instagram, including one listing the names of the nine people ICE has killed so far in 2026 and another calling for a national strike.
