Kathy Griffin Blasts Jimmy Fallon For Hosting Conor McGregor

Kathy Griffin has taken to Instagram to claim that she has been banned from Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ and to criticize his recent choice of guests. Griffin criticized Fallon for hosting Conor McGregor, who was fo und liable in a 2024 civil sexual assault case and ordered to pay $257,000 to the victim. "I have not done the Jimmy Fallon show since it was on at 12:30," Griffin said in her video post, adding, "I guess I’m banned." The Emmy winner jokingly noted that she’s banned from “most” shows, adding that “They don’t usually tell you you’re banned. They just can’t seem to find room for you.” Griffin called ‘The Tonight Show’s’ decision to book McGregor "a bad call," saying she thinks "the Fallon folks made a mistake by having Conor McGregor on." "I think it sends yet another message to women and marginalized folks everywhere that we’re not equal," Griffin argued. Griffin concluded by asking, "Fallon, what kind of message are we sending here?! AND can we PLEASE save canceling people for the ones who actually deserve it?"
