I attempted to write a post about identifying the Fake J Balvin Air Jordan 1 High a few weeks ago but I quickly stopped. Reason being I didn’t have access to pictures of legitimate pairs for a side by side. I searched everywhere but the pictures I was coming across weren’t convincing. Finally I was able to fetch some within the last 48 hours and hopefully this will be helpful to you.

hello good morning this is tas.com and I
0:03
want to wish you a merry Christmas and I
0:05
know some may complain and say hey I'm
0:07
not a Christian and I don't even believe
0:09
Jesus was born on Christmas which we all
0:12
know that he was not born on Christmas
0:14
but if you truly understand this the
0:17
story behind the Advent of Christ then
0:19
it makes all the sense because what
0:22
happened was when when uh Rome Romans
0:25
were celebrating uh the god meas who was
0:29
a god of um the conquered son Su so the
0:33
Christians didn't want to be part of
0:34
that so what they said was we are going
0:36
to turn around and we're going to
0:37
celebrate the the one who actually
0:39
created the sun Su so we are going to
0:42
celebrate the Lord who came on Earth to
0:45
ede and die for mankind so I want to
0:48
wish you Merry Christmas now for more on
0:50
the story you can check the link in the
0:52
description I did a whole show on that
0:55
now today we're going to try to identify
0:57
the fake When J bin Jordan one high so
1:01
before I get into it though I want to
1:02
point a couple of things out there are
1:04
two batches that have been out like
1:07
first let me show you the the original
1:09
batch that came out that this one came
1:11
out which I'm pointing out like a few
1:14
several months ago and the the this one
1:17
if you look at the Box there's like a
1:20
pink um portion underneath the box as
1:23
soon as you see that don't even waste
1:26
your time don't get this shoe it is fake
1:29
now they came out with a new one that
1:31
does not have that um pink portion
1:35
underneath it so now this morning what
1:37
we're going to do is I'm going to show
1:38
you how to quickly authenticate this uh
1:41
Jordan one bin both both F that I've
1:45
seen so basically I leaned on a lot of
1:47
things that I saw I saw on YouTube so I
1:49
did a almost like a recap and I put all
1:52
the stuff that I put together to try to
1:54
give you like a quicker way to do this
1:56
real quick but you may want to also now
1:58
this is the this is the the the the
2:02
updated uh fake now if you look a couple
2:05
of things that you want to see is both
2:07
sizes are like size eight and a half so
2:09
technically they should have the same
2:11
features but if you look here this
2:12
overlay here basically sits
2:15
above like goes beyond the line here
2:18
this is the authentic paay you see it
2:19
goes beyond the line and look here
2:21
there's a spacing here you see that
2:23
there's no spacing on the authentic pair
2:26
and again if you look at this uh swoosh
2:28
logo here the double stitches are
2:30
showing you can see that right on the on
2:32
the fake pair they are not showing
2:34
anywhere there's only the one single
2:35
stitch which means this this uh heel
2:38
overlay is actually sitting a little too
2:41
high and if you look at um these
2:43
stitches here look at the space in
2:45
between the heel overlay and the
2:48
stitching on the authentic pair is much
2:50
wider on the fake pair is really really
2:52
really small smaller Gap now let's go on
2:54
to the next picture now if you look
2:57
again this is the this picture I
3:00
obtained from this dude named TR true
3:02
versus fuu he did uh real versus fake so
3:04
I saw some of this thing I took a
3:05
screenshot and I say okay this is
3:07
important I want to show it now if you
3:08
look at the the the bottom here this uh
3:11
H liner on the authentic pair it almost
3:14
look like a v on the fake pair is really
3:16
curvy you see the curving here it's not
3:18
the same at all so as soon as you see
3:21
your pair put it aside and look at it
3:23
and see if yours does the same thing if
3:25
he does it then you know you've been
3:26
jipped now the next thing we're going to
3:28
look at is the out on the the toe box
3:32
now there appears to be almost like
3:34
loose threads at the uh edges of the
3:37
authentic pair fringes you can see that
3:40
here right but on the fake one they are
3:42
really smooth and clean you don't see
3:44
any of it but then I also looked at the
3:47
fake and if you look at the fake closely
3:48
you will see that that this portion here
3:50
is like poor craft craftsmanship is not
3:54
really like straight is crooked well on
3:57
the authentic you do not see that at all
3:59
and let's keep going let's keep going
4:02
we're going to look at again this is
4:05
again um the fringes and you can see you
4:09
can see them here it's almost like loose
4:10
is rough around the edges on the
4:12
authentic pair and the fake pair is very
4:15
very smooth and you don't see that at
4:17
all and then let's go on to the next the
4:21
back of the shoe it's a lot of things to
4:22
notice here first of for the gap between
4:26
uh the edge of the liner and the the
4:29
overlay lay here is much smaller on the
4:32
fake pair you can see this is the
4:33
authentic pair on the left fake pair on
4:35
the right okay you can see this Gap here
4:38
is much smaller than it is on the
4:40
authentic pair and you you look at the
4:41
depth you see there's like a depth to it
4:43
even I would talk about that here see is
4:46
like sharp and it goes down here is
4:49
really shallow and if you look at the
4:51
edges again you can see that there's
4:52
like a the fringes here that are nowhere
4:55
to be seen on the on the fake pair and
4:57
if you look at the tab see that tab here
5:00
the the gap between the the threads and
5:02
the stitches and the top of the tab is
5:04
much wider on the authentic be is very
5:06
very minimal on a fake again these are
5:09
both same sizes technically they should
5:11
have the same thing and again you look
5:13
at the edges here see the fringes
5:15
nowhere to be seen on the FES same thing
5:17
here you can see fringes here more loose
5:20
threads kind of and very smooth on the
5:23
fake PAAD which is actually weird when
5:25
you think about it right and then the
5:27
next thing is this is what I saw when he
5:29
was doing it these is a lot of thing the
5:31
patches like if you look the patches on
5:33
the fake pair like they're really like
5:35
rough here they're much smooth on the
5:38
authentic and you're going to see a
5:40
bunch more here look patches here are
5:43
very rough and uneven and the Jumpman do
5:45
not look the same look at the jump Band
5:47
Here much bigger jump band on the
5:48
authentic pair and then let's keep going
5:52
again this is not even centered and the
5:54
pink color is not the same you see the
5:56
pink here this is not Center here this
5:57
lightning bold is not and look this is
5:59
almost looks like a lemon so it's not
6:01
very straight and let's keep going again
6:05
another picture of the back which I
6:06
showed you earlier now you can argue
6:08
about the leather here but I feel like
6:10
leather is always like sometimes changes
6:12
but you can see that there's more
6:13
wrinkles here on the fake PA and if you
6:16
look again closely now if you look the
6:18
fringes nowhere to be seen on the face
6:21
and you can see here again more fringes
6:23
here very smooth on the F and then the
6:27
next thing we're going to look at is um
6:29
is again I when I was watching this
6:32
video I saw that this is something that
6:33
he pointed out and you see the color is
6:35
not the same and the laes are more full
6:38
Fuller on on the authentic Paar you see
6:40
they almost like w the height is higher
6:44
the height is higher interesting right
6:46
again the color is not the same like
6:47
this pink here is like a a darker pink a
6:50
darker green not pink what am I saying a
6:53
lighter green on this one here and then
6:56
we're going to look at uh these again
6:58
same thing see this is now is lighter
7:01
here and the pink is not the same again
7:03
the height laces are more full on the
7:07
authentic pair and you can actually go
7:09
back on my site and watch this whole
7:11
thing if you want and then he did the
7:13
black light and if you look at the black
7:14
light again this is the bad fake a lot
7:16
of perforations a lot of Dots here
7:18
showing here these are the threads again
7:21
Paul craftmanship you can see it over
7:22
here on the authentic PA there are
7:24
nowhere to be seen at the black light so
7:26
you can do that as well and if you look
7:28
at the laces the laces of of the
7:31
authentic pair they glow when you put
7:33
them uh submit them to the black light
7:35
on the authentic on the authentic pair
7:37
they glow and the fake pair they don't
7:39
glow at all now this is it for it so I
7:42
also wanted to share a couple of thing
7:44
