hey what's going on guys this is Tas
0:02
kicks.com and today I want to talk about
0:04
the Jordan 1 high OG volt gold is
0:08
scheduled to release on the 9th of
0:10
January and it's going to cost about 170
0:13
before tax so it's going to be available
0:15
in Mains and keid sizes as well now the
0:18
shoe features a white leather upper with
0:21
black and mustard yellow leather
0:24
overlays and more details will include
0:27
uh a volt on the heel strap it
0:30
translucent uh tag soon backwards on the
0:32
tongue and an off white uh sole that
0:34
completes on the look so this morning
0:37
what I'm going to do is I'm going to
0:38
tell you I'm going to try to figure out
0:40
what uh how many sizes and how many
0:42
pairs were made and we're also going to
0:44
talk about resale and where to buy the
0:46
shoe so what I do is I'm going to jump
0:48
into my presentation and we're going to
0:50
get into that all right so the very
0:52
first step we want to take is we want to
0:53
know who's get the shoe and that's
0:55
pretty much standard so we're going to
0:57
go to the major retailers and the minor
1:00
chain so food action fot loog Champs
1:02
it's going to be available in stores and
1:04
online in Eastbay online only Finish
1:07
Line you have JD sport hi and City Gear
1:10
then you have the smaller chain so the
1:12
smaller chain is going to be downtown
1:13
locker room sh sho city shic shoes Jimmy
1:16
Jazz Sho Palace Snipes So then more a
1:18
lot more boutiques so we're going to
1:20
disregard those for now but then the
1:22
next step we're going to take is we're
1:23
going to figure out our assumptions and
1:25
the assumptions are pretty
1:27
straightforward we're going to see foot
1:29
loger foot action Champs are going to
1:30
get about 40% of the total uh production
1:33
and everybody else is going to get 40%
1:36
and N Nike is going to get the other 20%
1:38
so it's going to be 40 plus 40 and plus
1:40
20 that is up to um pretty much your uh
1:44
100% all right so the next step you're
1:47
going to take is this we are going to um
1:50
um pretty much uh see that Foot Locker
1:52
is going to get about one3 of the entire
1:54
production because what I did was I went
1:56
on the Foot Locker app and I looked at
1:57
it and I put in my uh my zip code and
2:00
pretty much nobody's getting in in
2:02
Maryland it's like pretty scarce so it's
2:04
one3 of the Foot Locker and Foot Action
2:06
and Champs so this shoe is going to be
2:08
kind of limited so if I do that uh
2:10
assumption I'm up to like 334 Foot
2:13
Locker stores that's like a House of
2:14
Hoops included 9 92 foot actions and
2:17
then 183 Champs so pretty much most
2:21
Hustle Hoops will get the shoes so let's
2:23
let's just make sure that that that is
2:24
like set at the outset now for the
2:26
Hustle Hoops I'm going to give them like
2:28
48 pairs for Foot Locker we're going to
2:30
give him 18 for Foot Action and Champs
2:32
we're going to give him 12 and then the
2:34
online allocation is going to be like
2:35
2/3 of the total the physicals are
2:37
getting and for Foot Action we're going
2:39
to say one half each pay we also get
2:42
about a quarter of what Foot Locker Foot
2:44
Action and CHS are getting online and
2:46
then the next is just running the
2:48
numbers so let's do that
2:50
next so for the numbers uh let's go
2:54
ahead and do that so it's going to be
2:55
264 * 18 that's like
2:58
2952 and for Foot Action is going to be
3:01
181 * 12 and for House of Hoops is 170 *
3:05
48 and I'm not going to repeat all this
3:07
but you pretty much see what's going on
3:08
here the numbers are like 2952 8160 1104
3:14
2196 and then the online allocation is
3:16
going to be adding all these numbers
3:18
multiply by 2/3 and then for fot action
3:21
we did a half so that came up to
3:25
9424 and for each B we're going to do 9
3:27
9424 ID 4 we get 23 56 and the total is
3:31
going to be adding all these numbers
3:32
together I came up with
3:35
26,1 192 Pairs and I can stretch this
3:38
number up to like 30,000 pairs so I'm
3:41
I'm going to establish that again we say
3:43
that this was like 40% off the the USA
3:45
um production so if you trying to get
3:47
the the 100% pretty much you can do
3:51
30,000 plus 30,000 plus pretty much
3:54
15,000 which is going to give you about
3:57
75,000 but what I did was I just said
3:59
30,000 * 3 because sometimes they 1/3 so
4:03
I'm going to take it up to like 990,000
4:04
pairs just to be safe and so the total
4:07
production is going to be anywhere
4:08
between 990,000 and 200,000 based on
4:11
their assumptions now I have to give you
4:13
my disclaimer because I don't work for
4:15
the brands I don't know what they have
4:17
so everything that I do is pretty much
4:19
based on my assumption so take
4:21
everything that I say with a grain of
4:22
salt and the next thing we going to talk
4:24
about is resale but before I talk about
4:26
resale I want to show you a couple of
4:27
things here so I just wanted to sure
4:29
your fakes are out so you want to be
4:31
careful so pretty much I give you like
4:34
the preliminary steps on how to
4:36
authenticate it so one of the big that
4:39
giveway is the height of the shoe like
4:41
most fakes are always like usually
4:43
shorter in height and you can see that
4:45
over here because the the the the gap
4:47
between uh the heel strap and the heel
4:50
liner is like much smaller here and if
4:52
you see the back the heel counter here
4:54
is like too straight and it's like
4:55
vertical there's no leaning to it and I
4:58
I talk about more floors so you want to
4:59
check it I'll give you a link in the
5:01
description be sure to check that out
5:03
and I have several other um
5:07
authentication um articles on the
5:09
website that you want to check so I have
5:10
a bunch of them so make sure you check
5:12
that and it will help you out so now the
5:15
thing is is I might put the the this one
5:18
on on eBay on on YouTube soon the
5:21
authentication I'm so lost this morning
5:23
man my forgive me guys because I have so
5:25
much going on in my head right now but
5:27
yeah I'm going to have this on I might
5:28
have this on YouTube I just don't have
5:30
to shoe on hand yet and a lot of guys
5:32
get a little bit funky when I put this
5:33
on because they go you don't have to
5:35
shoe how can you tell I can tell because
5:36
I've done this for a long time and I
5:38
pretty much know what to look for and I
5:40
know where to get my pictures from so
5:42
yes anyway let's jump back into talking
5:44
about
5:45
resale resale is a two-step process okay
5:49
the first thing is this like if you look
5:50
at this we we we're going to talk about
5:52
resale versus time so if you look it
5:54
started off pretty good on the 19th of
5:56
December for the first five days the
5:58
shoe was like at at like 350 which is
6:01
self-explanatory you know that's what
6:02
that's what's going to happen people
6:03
want it they burning with desire to like
6:05
acquire it like early so they willing to
6:08
pay like 350 now by the way this is a
6:10
breakdown of the resale value per day
6:13
okay so I take a a bunch of um um sales
6:16
data and you crunch it to get how much
6:18
the shoe went for for that day now if
6:20
you look after December the 23rd it
6:23
start to drop and he's down to like 330
6:25
or 329 and then after that it's pretty
6:28
much at like 300 and then 13 we just saw
6:30
that the shoe is pretty scarce so I'm
6:32
thinking that the value is going to be
6:34
anywhere between $300 and $330 by the
6:36
time it comes out and I'm going to read
6:38
it off my chart to give you more
6:40
accurate numbers so give me one second
6:43
so pretty much it's going to remain the
6:45
low 300 until his release date it might
6:48
decrease by 5% but I'm not too sure but
6:50
what what I'm going to say to you is
6:52
this is going to be anywhere between
6:53
$300 and 330 depend on the size that you
6:57
acquired now I'm going to show you a
6:59
breakdown of the resale buy size to give
7:01
you a better accurate number so you can
7:05
pretty much see what the sizes are going
7:06
for like size 7 300 now the sizes with
7:10
the gold markings are the better sizes
7:12
to get like eight n and a half and and
7:15
then 13 fetched the highest value at 328
7:19
357 and 366 and everything else was
7:22
pretty much consistent with what we said
7:24
earlier which is like anywhere between
7:26
300 and a little bit more than 300 now
7:28
size 12 for reason kind of Tanked a
7:30
little bit 269 which is kind of like I'm
7:33
not sure why that happened but you can
7:35
expect this shoe to to to keep it value
7:37
at like 300 between 300 and 330 okay I'm
7:40
going to again I'm going to read off my
7:42
chart and I'm going to show you what you
7:44
can expect as fast like your profit so
7:47
again like smaller sizes usually they
7:49
they on on on the ones they have the
7:51
highest return but maybe it's because
7:53
it's too early but I can definitely say
7:55
that the resale value will probably be
7:57
between like 300 and 330 so you can
7:59
expect for profit with shoes like
8:01
retailing for 182 your profit is going
8:03
to be anywhere between $90 and
8:06
$110 and your markup is like anywhere
8:08
between 50% and 65% this is a good shoe
8:10
to get for resale purposes I'm not sure
8:13
how I feel about the colorway I just
8:15
don't feel like it's just enticing that
8:16
much but resale is pretty good on it
8:19
it's a limited shoe so yes it's going to
8:21
be limited and if you want to get it I
8:23
have links for you which I'll show you
8:25
in a second where you can get it so
8:27
let's say you want to buy now I have a
8:29
bunch of links for you here I have those
8:31
all those retailers but if you want if
8:33
you don't want to wait for it and you
8:34
just want to get now because you don't
8:35
want to go through the hustle then I
8:37
have some link for you where you can
8:39
actually buy from me here and I'm going
8:42
to be able to make sure you get it and
8:44
you get it authentic pair okay so I can
8:46
do that for you or you can just go
8:49
straight and just click those links
8:50
right now all right again thanks for
8:52
