Welcome back to our study of the book of 1 John. Today we're going to continue to define the testimony of God, the one HE has given concerning His only begotten Son Jesus. Last week we talked about the meaning of Jesus coming by water and by blood. And we linked these two events to His anointing for public ministry by John the Baptist and His death on the cross to atone for the sins of the world. Verses 9-15 focus on giving more weight to the evidence God has given us about Jesus.
