2025 Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Special

Join FOX 5 NY as we present our 2025 Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Special. This emotional and powerful event honors the final heroic footsteps of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and pays tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters, law enforcement officers and all the civilians lost on September 11, 2001. See highlights from the 24th annual Run & Walk, where over 30,000 participants retraced Siller's route from the Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers site. The event, which has grown into one of America's top 5K runs, raises vital funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's programs, supporting first responders and catastrophically injured service members. This year, the run featured Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy announcing honorary starter and culminated in a festival with a performance by multi-platinum country superstar Chris Janson.
