Sensō-ji Temple Tokyo, Japan Walking Tour Vlog

0:01
what up everyone I'm still out in Tokyo
0:03
Japan exploring the areas the many
0:07
different areas of this city and uh
0:09
today I'm going to be going to the Seno
0:11
G Temple I believe it's called or
0:16
Seno yeah Cog G Temple a bunch of my
0:20
friends told me that it's worth visiting
0:22
while I'm here it's the classic one
0:24
that's got the big Bell and beautiful
0:27
Buddhist temples that everyone visits in
0:29
in Tokyo so I figured I may as well do
0:31
it before I dip in a couple days I'm
0:33
going to be going to Kyoto and then
0:36
after that
0:37
Osaka and N Nagano to end my trip so I
0:42
got to do all the classic Tokyo things
0:45
before I leave I already got some
0:47
footage of shabo Crossing uh I've been
0:51
walking around Ginza a bunch and I also
0:54
did rongi yesterday which I didn't film
0:57
video much but I did a lot of street
0:58
photography which was super fun I
1:02
managed to find the Fujifilm Museum
1:04
there which was amazing so I'm just
1:06
going to show you a bit of my day today
1:07
I want to try to keep this a shorter
1:09
Vlog I usually feel like I over film and
1:12
have trouble editing
1:14
so take a look around the neighborhood
1:16
see what you think I'm staying in the
1:19
ninoo nihombashi
1:21
area it's a pretty nice day a little
1:23
cloudy but warmer weather than before
1:30
I'm about to be hopping on the Metro my
1:33
favorite public transportation in the
1:35
world so I'll probably cut it once I get
1:37
close to there and then I'll reappear
1:40
once I get to the temple
2:12
d
2:44
this is one of my favorite sculptures I
2:46
walk by almost every
2:47
day wild
2:50
boar and if you guys look kind of like
2:53
deep over there that's the Tokyo Tower
2:56
it's a little harder to see cuz it's not
2:58
really lit up right now obviously during
3:00
the day but it is stunning at night
3:46
hopping into the
3:48
subway I'm going to show you guys a bit
3:50
of it I don't really know if I'm allowed
3:51
to film here but I'm going just show you
3:53
guys me hopping on

speee speech
6:44
here comes the train
7:00
man it's crowded today
7:17
[Music]
7:58
I for
8:29
we've made it to the asakusa area I
8:32
don't think I pronounced that right but
8:35
bear with
8:37
me Japanese is not my strong suit I
8:41
butchered every
8:47
word hopefully I can find the temple
8:50
pretty quickly I kind of want to just
8:53
walk around get some footage and then I
8:55
got a couple chores today going to be
8:57
shipping some gifts back for the guys
9:00
doing some other
9:01
stuff taking it easy got to do some
9:08
work wow the Tokyo Tower looks amazing
9:12
from here
9:54
here we go getting
9:57
closer it's really busy here
10:13
kimono rental what do you guys think
10:16
should I get
10:24
one oh there's the big lantern that
10:26
everyone posts pretty cool
10:38
I'm going to get a quick photo and keep
10:41
recording all right got some film flicks
10:45
let's keep it pushing
10:46
around it's definitely a big touristy
10:50
area lot of things to spend your money
10:53
on lot of to be honest I like
10:55
to see the actual monuments oh know
11:09
wow it's busy
11:13
here remember
11:43
smells so good to be
11:45
honest they know what they're doing
11:47
having this long line of shops before
11:50
you get to the actual
11:52
Temple with tempting
11:55
smells interesting
11:57
Goods everything in in
12:00
between this is what it looks like
12:02
behind it's really
12:14
cool I'm so bad at taking
12:17
selfies trying to show more of myself in
12:20
the environments I'm in rather than just
12:21
pictures cuz family and friends back
12:24
home want to see that but it's not my
12:27
strong suit
12:31
if you've seen my other Vlogs from Asia
12:33
on this this journey let me know what
12:34
you think let me know what your feedback
12:37
is I'm always trying to improve
12:51
[Music]
13:14
[Music]
13:28
watch
13:58
for
14:27
for around
14:43
it's very interesting seeing all the
14:44
different snacks and treats they have
14:46
out here even compared to Thailand and
14:49
Malaysia everything is different in
14:50
every region there's some similarities
14:52
but generally speaking it's new which
14:56
makes it
14:57
fun we're getting close to the main
15:02
Temple it's like a sea of people trying
15:04
to get there so it's not the easiest
15:08
walk I wish I could just float the Drone
15:10
around here but I definitely think that
15:12
would be a bad idea
15:47
nice this is I got here at like
15:57
[Music]
16:01
wow this is stunning one of the more
16:04
Majestic temples I've seen very
16:07
different style than the the temples in
16:10
Thailand a lot more red dominant colors
16:13
here as opposed to I would say Thailand
16:15
has a lot more gold and
16:18
yellows but mesmerizing and beautiful
16:21
nonetheless look at some of the art on
16:23
the way in big fan of this style of art
16:50
some of the trees are starting to bloom
16:52
again it's mid-march it's pretty
16:55
beautiful
17:24
wow this is incredible
17:37
Neo closed mouth
17:40
style probably hard to see from this
17:43
camera but it's a pretty cool sculpture
17:45
they got behind the cage this Lantern is
17:49
the biggest one I think I've ever seen
17:50
in my life it's like a hot air balloon
17:53
almost
18:13
are this looks like some type of
18:16
offering people are
18:18
doing every Temple and Country and
18:21
religion has a different way of going
18:22
about it I'll show you the sign so you
18:26
can see
18:40
supposedly you can draw a good fortune
19:20
the incense are burning it smells so
19:22
good wow I wanted video we uh kind of
19:27
yeah out
19:39
this is
19:42
unreal right in the middle of Tokyo too
19:44
I mean took me 15 minutes on the train
19:47
to get
19:49
here the tower's right over there
20:00
another massive Lantern
20:26
beautiful looks like people are making
20:28
offers
20:54
here and that is Seno G very cool I'm
20:58
going to go explore the gardens a little
20:59
bit Gardens and ponds and cor fish and
21:03
everything like that it's one of my
21:04
favorite things it's going to be a
21:07
massive one on the compound one day so
21:09
I'm going to try to get some inspiration
21:11
while I'm here
21:48
here's a quick map so you can see some
21:50
of the areas I walked through we started
21:53
down here walked down the trail to the
21:56
next Temple and then the main hall
21:59
and now I'm going to check out the
22:01
fivestory pagota some of the gardens
22:03
around
22:07
it there's the fivestory
22:27
pagota no feeding the fish but there are
22:29
some in there it's a little bit murky
22:31
water so you can't see them here
22:34
but it's
22:39
beautiful oh yeah you can kind of see
22:41
him
22:43
here Japanese carp
22:57
[Music]
22:59
another Temple this one has a
23:02
[Music]
23:05
line let be
23:10
special and that concludes my visit to
23:12
Cog G not a super long visit I just
23:15
wanted to see what it was get a couple
23:18
photos take it all in but I'll keep you
23:21
guys posted with some more Vlogs from
23:23
Japan I already filmed a couple with
23:25
Josh when he was here that I need to
23:26
edit still like our Mission trying to
23:29
see
23:30
sukij and getting blocked when we
23:33
got there among other fun experiences
23:37
here I also have some footage from sh
23:40
shabuya Crossing that I'll get edited
23:42
soon so stay tuned for all that and
23:45
here's a quick visual before I go
