getting trapped underwater is a nightmare for any diver It's even worse when you're 90 m down Fortunately for my
0:07
buddy Rick I was there on hand to release him but it's easy to see how it could have turned out badly Fortunately
0:14
Rick's a resilient character and he soon cracked on with the rest of the dive Unfortunately this was another one of
0:21
those dives where we didn't find the tamper and instead found another vessel
0:26
from the late 20th century I don't know what they were doing to them during that period but they certainly weren't
0:32
recording particularly well where they sank This dive was from October 2023 It
0:38
was with the Gasperados dive team on Atlantic Diver with Chris Low as a skipper We were diving again out of Newi
0:45
in the north coast of Cornwall and traveling 40 mi offshore to this unknown and as far as we knew undived Mark It's
0:54
quite unusual on these trips for Rick and myself to get to go in first but we did today and we had the scooters So got
1:02
in Conditions were absolutely fantastic and we headed down the line Now the day
1:08
before the team had tried to dive this wreck and I hadn't been on the dive I
1:14
was doing something with my lads Uh I took them on a a cycling event on Dartmore but the team had tried to shot
1:20
this wreck and they'd gone down and done the dive and they'd missed it So they'd done a seabed dive which is obviously
1:27
hugely frustrating uh not to mention expensive and timeconuming and all those kind of things So I was feeling quite
1:34
pleased with myself that I'd missed that but I was also a bit nervous So if the record being missed yesterday uh you
1:40
know who knew that it was on today to avoid the likelihood of it missing again
1:46
there was a more weight on the shot and also quite a lot more line as well One of the thoughts from previous day was
1:53
that the tide had dragged the shot off the wreck So the line will become important later on when we get down to
1:59
the bottom of the wreck As we head down though I thought I'd give you a bit more information about what we actually find
2:05
which is this thing the motor fishing vessel Labos I might not have said that
2:10
correctly Apologize to anybody if I've mispronounced it It was a a Belgian ship
2:17
built in 1986 and went down in 1995 after springing a leak in heavy weather
2:25
Um all the crew were rescued which is obviously the good news but the bad news
2:30
is it's not the tamper Anyway you can see me heading down here with Rick there
2:36
And what you may have noticed is that the lazy shot is already in the water That kind of How does that tie in with
2:42
the fact that Rick and myself are in first well this is each skipper has their own little way of doing things And
2:48
one of the things that Chris Low on Atlantic Diver likes to do is he puts the shot in uh and the lazy shot in
2:55
together So he never relies on divers to do it And that's why you saw the the
3:00
shot and the lazy shot where you can see them both there together We're just getting to the point in a moment where our tags are going to go And you'll see
3:06
that we're both starting to uh to prepare for that Rick's slightly ahead of me He's going to put his tag on there
3:12
and I'm going to follow shortly afterwards uh with mine on as well Now there's pros and cons of doing it this
3:18
way Um I have to say I don't particularly have a preference Um the only thing it does the only thing
3:26
is is that Chris doesn't like anything else being on the lazy shot So he doesn't like Kindles or these days my uh
3:33
my Dive Voke phone housing He doesn't like that being on the lazy shot So if you want to put those on you've got to
3:38
take them in and put them in yourself afterwards Not a great hardship but um
3:44
it is one of those things And you know the bottom line is as a diver you've got to respect the way the skipper wants to
3:50
do things and you've got to comply with them So that's not a problem for me not a problem for the other guys we dive
3:56
with Whilst I'm descending I often get asked about gases I use and those kind of things So I thought I'd show you
4:02
these screenshots from Multi Deco which uh for my 1085 dilluent And obviously
4:07
we've got a maximum depth on this dive of about 90 m And you can see what a great great gas it is um almost no
4:15
narcosis really low gas density making it making it a super good choice The downside though of having this much
4:22
helium in it is that I'm probably going to incur more deco Now I'm not 100% certain why I've chosen this gas mix
4:29
it's probably um the best one that I had I've I've got three or four dilluent cylinders and no doubt the other ones
4:36
were just a bit bit rubbish for this one Um right now you can see here getting to the bottom of the shot and the wreck has
4:42
come into view What I should have done at this point is spotted that that rope the shot line the
4:49
kind of lots of it that we've got is actually in and amongst Rick's diving
4:54
cylinders there And that's what's going to cause the problem in a few minutes Um I completely missed that I'm much much
5:01
more focused on the wreck and the fact that it's clearly not the tamper It's
5:06
much too big much too upright much too intact So um I'm therefore I'm off I'm
5:13
trying to figure out what it is And and and there I go And it's only once I've been once around the wheelhouse I'll
5:20
come back and I'll see that poor old Rick never managed to get himself untangled from the shot where where I
5:26
left him So uh bad drills by me But that's in the future What I'm currently
5:31
doing at the moment as you can see here is I'm just going around what is clearly a uh a wheelhouse that's a lot younger
5:39
than 100 years old You also probably just saw there's a load of uh rope in in
5:44
the water there kind of suspended on the uh on the side of the boat And and this
5:49
is what causes Rick the problem the fact that there is so much um there's so much rope And I guess we did that to try and
5:56
avoid the wreck the shot getting dragged off the wreck as it did the day before But the impact of that is is that
6:03
there's so much uh so much rope that poor old Rick ends up getting entangled in it Now I think at this point you've
6:09
seen me start to go one way I'm turning around I'm going back And I think that's because my spidy sense is tingly and I'm
6:16
already aware that there's something wrong I mean the first thing you can see is that the strobes have dropped down So
6:21
where I put them they're actually much mine is much lower but I can also if you see up here I can see some sort of
6:27
flashing And I can actually I can hear something Doesn't come over particularly well on the audio but as I go up here
6:33
you can see poor old Rick He does not look comfortable like that does he he's clearly he's been there ever since I
6:40
left him And that is really really unpleasant Uh obviously the good news
6:46
for Rick is that I'm I'm there And clearly resolving it is something that takes seconds to do and and he's off
6:52
again But I can't emphasize enough how uncomfortable that must have been for
6:58
Rick I I've not had exactly that thing happen to me but I've certainly been in situations where either a bit of fishing
7:05
line or a bit of discarded rope has has has somehow snagged on me And until you
7:12
get free it's it's really really unpleasant What you can clearly see here is how much of that rope there is It's
7:18
basically it's on the seabed and all the shots are essentially on the seabed as well So you know pros and cons of doing
7:26
it the way we did the good I mean there's also no current you know that's son's law as well So I can't remember
7:32
for certain but maybe we changed changed the uh um you know where we were in
7:38
relation to the tide when we went in in on this dive But anyway what I'm doing here is is I'm having a look into what
7:44
is uh what is the wheelhouse And you can see there's all sorts of uh bits and pieces in there And you can see this is
7:50
a this is a modern wreck If you have a look down to my right you can see those strobes You can also see Rick over to my right hand side No doubt Um very very
7:58
relieved And there's obviously a port hole still intact on the wall up on my right hand side And that's me uh me
8:04
looking through the the door there And one of those photos that you saw earlier I think was taken by Rick at this point
8:11
And that's I think a measure of how uh composed he must have been The fact that
8:16
he can go from being hooked up as he was mere moments before to taking photos I
8:22
think that's a sign of of his resilience And and Rick has been doing this a very very long time You know he's one of the
8:28
first real um gas divers in the UK one of the first real CCR divers Done loads
8:33
and loads of stuff Um you probably just saw there on the top of the wheelhouse there was some um uh you know some lamps
8:40
and some you know this clearly this vessel has got electricity It's it's really obvious even from the small
8:45
amount of time that we've been on it that this is a is a super super modern vessel We're obviously on the the main
8:52
deck of this um at the stern and so you know in front of me forward is the is
8:59
the bow So you can see there's a there's a ladder just in front of me there which would kind of go up to the the main kind
9:05
of bridge area Those those kind of prominent windows and if you have a look at the photos um those kind of triple
9:11
windows stand out really well on them I've got a real confession to make about this dive is it took me ages to actually
9:17
orientate myself on this wreck I don't know I don't know why that is Maybe it's just cuz it was too intact But it took
9:24
me it took me ages to kind of figure out and get in my uh get in my head a kind of mental model of what the of what the
9:31
wreck looked like But now that I've obviously seen the photos and and going back over the video really helped me to
9:37
do that So the bridge is just off to my left hand side I've just gone past it and therefore you know this is the main
9:42
kind of working deck of of the trawler So that's the bridge is just above that hatch to my left This hatch here would
9:48
have gone into the the fish hold or these these hatches here would have gone into the fish hold You can see there's a
9:53
there's a whole load of net and stuff there So um and then if I go up here you can see all these wires and stuff And
9:59
this is where the bridge would have been but it is completely completely vanished So there is no bridge on this all these
10:05
wires and cables and everything that would have been for the bridge gear and the coms and all that sort of stuff but it's just it's just completely gone I
10:13
don't know what happened to it Whether it was trolled off whether it was take me down in the sinking who knows but as
10:19
you can see you see what I mean about being confused I'm going back over the area I've been I'm still on the starboard side I'm now heading back to
10:25
the stern Those windows I talked about I've just gone past this area here I I've been over a few times Obviously the
10:31
main shot is off to the left hand side Um I don't know I don't really know what
10:37
why why I'm doing this Um it's quite a long time ago now Maybe I was looking
10:43
for something I think what you can see there that that sort of big load of stuff is probably the the beam from the
10:49
from the trawler Um it's fallen It's come back down and fallen on the main hole So So I'm off the side of the wreck
10:55
now here just having a look at the at the hole Once again this is still the starboard side I'm I'm dropping down to
11:02
the seabed now Uh maybe going back to have a look at going have a look at props or maybe not I've just decided I
11:08
don't want to do that Who knows what I'm doing As I say I found this I found this really uh confusing Maybe it was that
11:15
bit of adrenaline of going to release Rick I I don't know But anyway I'm I'm going back This is heading towards the
11:22
bow again Still on the starboard side So you know we've been probably over this three times now the bridge area or where
11:29
the bridge area would have been is on my left hand side I think probably I'm just having a look over the seabed there You
11:34
know once again those are that may be the beams that you can see lying there on the seabed
11:40
Uh beam trollers I'm sure most people know have two big arms that that kind of go either side of the the vessel That's
11:47
what all the kind of nets and stuff get attached to And this is um this is coming towards the for castle and the
11:53
bow of the ship which potentially is where the bell is Um we didn't find
11:58
anything Didn't find anything on this wreck No crockery no no bells obviously
12:05
no brass stuff Um so the way we actually ended up identifying
12:10
this was the fact that we knew it was a modern vessel We searched in the area
12:16
for sinking reports Oh this is this is the very bow here This is the actual tip You can see Rick is going there He's uh
12:22
he's going to uh get a photo I think But that's that's the bow of the ship I
12:28
don't know what I'm doing frankly This wasn't this wasn't my greatest dive I I
12:33
don't know I just came out of the water not feeling so so great on this that that I didn't feel that I'd achieved very much which is kind of a kind of an
12:40
odd thing to say but um it was it it was I felt really odd about this dive Don't
12:46
normally get that happen Very very unusual but but this is this is it So anyway having a look over the sea over
12:52
the side on the seabed stuff does fall off ships I guess that's what I'm kind of hoping for here Uh just a some sort
13:00
of fish and stuff there But you know clearly this wreck is super super intact and and not very old And that's that's
13:08
just what I'm seeing through through the dive all the time is everything you see convinces you that this is a modern
13:14
wreck So so going back to how we identified it Yeah So so we we knew roughly how long it was We knew it was
13:19
modern We knew where it sunk and then we just looked through sinking reports of stuff in that area and that's what we uh
13:26
this is what we found is it was the there was this lab that had gone down in that area When we saw the picture of it
13:32
when we reviewed it against uh you know this kind of video it was really clear that that's that's what it was So
13:38
nothing conclusively identified it but it was the right location It was the right size It looked the same things
13:45
like those triple windows at the back you know the beams all those kind of things just made it
13:52
couldn't be anything else really So that's all still to come in the future though during the dive It's just trying
14:00
to grab whatever evidence you can And you can see here I'm just trying to look right up into the front and see what's
14:06
uh Now I've never been in a trwler I don't really know what to expect but
14:12
that thing on the right I'm sure somebody has been in a troller Somebody would would recognize what that is
14:17
Obviously there's a set of steps there just to my left hand side that that take you right up onto the top of the bow So
14:24
just come around the other side And you know once again there's just loads of kind of stuff that anybody who knows
14:30
trollers will be able to go instantly I'm sure that's a that and that's a that I'm sure 1995 isn't that long ago I
14:38
guess 30 years ago from from where I'm looking they can't be that different Um
14:43
but now this is me going back I'm on the starboard side there There's the the kind of fish hold or something with all
14:49
that netting onto the right hand side This is coming back towards towards the bridge area There's some sort of
14:55
something there sticking out Maybe there was a host pipe or something I don't know You can see all the the cabling
15:01
again coming out of uh the bridge area You can see the beam on the right hand
15:06
side there You can see some sort of block no doubt um for part of the the equipment or whatever you're part of the
15:12
ropes Uh once again back on top of the bridge uh 85 m deep I mean you can see
15:18
the sea we I'll go down to a seabed in a bit but you can see how how much this stands up Um but once again having a
15:26
look around here for anything Hoping that there might be something I don't know if that um that beam has been moved
15:32
there after the sinking That was during the sinking but the uh the bit that's taken off the bridge certainly looks
15:39
fairly clean I'd imagine that one of those beams would do it if if it hit hit it hard enough Uh you know there's all
15:46
sorts of bits of fishing gear here I'm not sure whether this is associated with
15:51
the the actual wreck itself or whether this is stuff that's come in afterwards
15:56
but clearly you know it's all relatively recent There's no old stuff here which
16:03
is not really a surprise So I'm on the port side now Uh once again just having
16:08
a look around you taking my time as you've probably seen me do on any number of other videos Just having a good look
16:14
There is that uh that door into the very stern section You're right at the beginning of the dive I I was looking
16:21
into there Um I don't know what those things are that I've seen there In fact I think there's some sort of light or
16:27
lamp or um something like that I'm having a look at them see if they come
16:32
off Unfortunately they don't But um you know they look kind of they've got that
16:37
kind of plastic look to them Um you know they're not they're not old Nothing on this ship is old Um and there's another
16:45
set of stairs there going up to the bridge area So this is on the port side of as I mentioned That's Rick off to my
16:50
right hand side Um there's something you know once again I'm certain that who you
16:56
know anybody who knows about this kind of era of of Rex will be able to identify and that there is is the funnel
17:03
about the only bit that stands up above um you know in that kind of bridge area
17:09
The rest of bridge is gone but we saw a lobster wandering around there Um bit
17:14
small to do anything you know to take with me and also I'm not really interested in lobsters on these kind of
17:19
dives I'm much more interested in trying to find stuff that might identify it And
17:25
obviously nothing is is what I'm going to find So this is right at the stern
17:30
And you probably recall that's where the shot line is It's off to on the starboard side This is me on the port
17:35
side So I'm going to drop right over the back and just go down have a look at the props I think there's another diver off
17:41
to my uh right hand side there Don't think that's Rick Uh so it'll be one of
17:46
the other guys coming in um afterwards No doubt they followed the shot line
17:51
down got all the way to the bottom and then realized they've got to go back up to uh to actually get on the wreck And
17:57
that's kind of an odd experience when that happens to you especially if you're not expecting it And I'm not sure why we
18:02
weren't expecting it on this D I think maybe the sonar didn't give us that good a picture But if you have a look there
18:08
you can see the rudder I'm down on the seabed here You can see 90 odd mters and you can see there's an enclosed uh
18:15
enclosed prop there So once again really really modern and seabed is kind of
18:22
quite big gravel and stuff there I'm just getting a bit of video of it So you
18:27
know once again sometimes props are useful for identifying stuff Not in this particular case Um although I'm sure we
18:34
could go and dig out the records and we could find something about the prop But there you go That's enough enough
18:40
time on the seabed I think 92 meters There we go So I think the the top of it
18:45
was about 85 So this whole thing stands 7 m above the seabed I'm sure actually
18:51
if I went up onto the very top of the funnel it would be more than that Oh there's Rick He's going to come down and
18:56
and get some photos And he does actually get as you'd expect get some get some corking photo photos Um I'm not staying
19:05
around for my normal um prop shot that I often get with Rick Uh there there's an interesting thing there Maybe I'm not
19:12
sure what that is but once again I'm sure somebody who knows about this kind of vessel will be will identify that
19:18
immediately There's those three prominent windows Again these are on the the port side though not the starboard side There's the ladder going up to the
19:24
bridge area So you've seen all this kind of stuff a lot And what you can also see is I'm just going round and round the
19:30
wreck I'm kind of not really seeing anything new I'm just
19:36
incurring more and more decompression And for those of you who are looking at my computer you'll see I'm up to 96
19:41
minutes TTS there And um you know I've been down about 19 minutes So that gives
19:49
you a feel for if if you don't do this kind of diving for how quickly your deco racks up Um
19:56
and once again you know this is this is a TTS driven dive so no really want to
20:02
be on the surface after um 2 and 1/2 hours That's that's pretty much what we normally do on on these dives unless
20:08
there's a particularly good reason to be down longer So really at this point I am just
20:17
incurring extra deco for no particularly good reason this bit of the record I've been to I don't know this is my third or
20:24
fourth time back to the bridge I think partly it's because as as I've already said to you several times I I'm really
20:30
struggling to get a handle on this wreck I'm I don't know why it was that I really I I wasn't able to kind of get it
20:37
in my head So at the end of the dive I thought this was much squarer than it actually was but um clearly it isn't
20:45
It's we we seen a picture of it you've uh as I've been around it no doubt you've you've got a feel for it yourself
20:53
but that's um it just didn't didn't work in my head So anyway there you go I've
20:59
had enough and I'm just telling Rick that um I don't particularly reckon very much to it as a dive You probably saw
21:06
that little hand signal there and that I'm I'm going to go up And once again you can see there's there's bits of uh
21:12
the shot line everywhere I mean it's got to be I don't know 10 m too long this I guess But um anyway so somewhere
21:20
somewhere there the strobes all over the place on this dive Um I'm I'm trying to
21:26
figure out where mine is And I think I'm I'm going to have to go down to get to it Um you can see there's another diver
21:32
there Not sure which one that is but he's another one with a G-box on Another one who's finishing up their dive And
21:39
you can see there I'm having to go down quite a long way to get my uh to get my strobe And I'm trying to figure out
21:45
which one exactly it is It's always a bit of a challenge on shot lines which which one is is yours And you can see uh
21:52
there you go I think I can recognize the green tape on mine So So that's good I'm going to get my strobe and then uh I'm
21:59
going to get out of here and uh head up to the surface I've got 110 minutes TTS there So um with the 20 minutes bottom
22:06
time that will put me at 130 So kind of 2 hours uh 2 hours 10 But I'm going to
22:12
accelerate it by putting up the P2 when I when I get to my stops And I'm also
22:17
going to um There you go Probably turning the camera off cuz it's it's just so rubbish Um in terms of the dive
22:24
not not the camera Camera's great GoPro 11 And there you go I am accelerating up
22:30
uh getting up to my uh getting up to my deco stops So you can see there I've fast forwarded
22:37
quite a bit And this is me just getting to the uh the lazy shot And you see there I obviously I was the first in So
22:44
that means I'm going to be one of the the first out I've just taken my tag off there You can see there's another diver
22:50
coming back up behind me I also got a bit of a a fast descent warning My computer wasn't particularly chuffed
22:56
with me scootering up maybe quite as quickly as I did But um there you I mean one of the things you can see from this
23:03
bit of the dive is just how stunning the conditions are And they were really good on the bottom as well Obviously it was
23:08
quite dark but um you know the the water clarity here in this area of North
23:13
Cornwall on days like this can just be just be unbelievable And this is something I really enjoy doing Uh just
23:19
looking down the down the shot line like that Now what you can see me doing there is I'm fiddling around my left hand uh
23:26
sorry fiddling around with my uh inspiration And what I'm going to be
23:31
doing is changing the uh the P2 to 1.5 And that obviously accelerates decco
23:37
helps with the TTS You um you will see me do exactly the same thing on my uh
23:44
backup which is obviously the computer that displays on the on the screen And
23:50
I'm kind of hanging on for when that happens um on the overlay So hopefully you will see the P2 go up to 1.5 And
23:57
this is actually really nice because you don't often the my paral lenses aren't often set up so to allow you to see me
24:05
um making the changes There you go You can see it went to 1.5 So that's really nice to see that the um the overlay is
24:12
synchronized with my actual computer And that gives me the opportunity to give Eric Start another big shout out cuz
24:18
he's the guy who did all the work on this And uh what he's done new for this dive is that is an actual photo of my
24:25
computer So um rather than the the other ones which are kind of like a a stylized
24:32
picture of it he got me to send him a photo of my computer and then he kind of cut it out and everything So he's put it
24:37
on there So you've got my my battered muchus um sheer water pertix 2 um on the
24:44
screen there So that's really nice And if you want to know how to do it go to his channel and explains He's also got a
24:52
uh a new release which has got loads more different models So if you've got a nerd for instance you can put that on there and various other bits and pieces
24:58
It's really really uh clever So you can see there that my um TTS has dropped
25:04
down quite a bit when I uh when I did that when I made that change to 1.5 And
25:10
for those of you who can't remember what it was it was 100 minutes TTS before I made the change and it was 88 afterwards
25:16
So 12 minutes um in a it it's kind of not massive but um in the big scheme of
25:22
things it does make yeah does make a difference The other thing you can see hopefully is that I've been a naughty
25:28
boy and I've allowed my depth to creep up a bit there So um the the stop should have been 39 m I was obviously nearly 36
25:36
And you can see me heading back down again to get uh so my computer doesn't get angry with me There you go That that
25:43
was uh that was it And for those of you who don't know with a sheer water you've got 2 Um
25:50
so if you're at 39.8 sorry if you're at 38.8 and you need to
25:55
be at 39 it will kind of give you that But if you're at 38.7 then it will it will do that yellow thing And if you if
26:02
it's really doesn't if it really wants you to do the stop it will go red the instant you you exceed it But most of
26:08
the time it's you you get that yellow thing I know lots of you love watching my deco profile or watching the thing
26:15
that you get from the sheer water cloud desktop So here it is here and you can see uh you can see through the dive all
26:21
fairly stand You can see this bit there where I drop down to the props get that 92 m This is the back end of the dive
26:27
and you can see there when I left the bottom you see I come up here there's the change to 1.5 so 100 to 88 And then
26:37
you can also see uh there's a whole load of other time spent doing the decco And I eventually get out at the end which
26:46
nicely takes me on to the last bit of the dive cuz what you're going to see now is here we go We're all on DSMBBS Um
26:53
that's what we tend to do Chris doesn't have a trapze So we we put up DSMBBS
26:59
near the lazy shot We all chill out Um there's a whole group of us here Interesting enough few different
27:04
rebreathers there That's Steve on his Revo There was also James on his XCCR
27:10
You saw right at the beginning In fact there he is James on his XCCR Very recognizable with his orange hood And
27:17
we're we're all getting to the end of our dive now And we There you go You can
27:22
see above us there The boat You can see how great the conditions must be because nothing is moving The boats not really
27:29
moving around You can see the visibility is stunning you know So the skipper and
27:34
everybody they're just sat there looking down on us and they can see us in the water Particularly if you've got a box
27:40
like mine a yellow box you um they stand up really well from the surface You probably just saw there that I was I was
27:47
checking my computer I briefly went above above the ceiling but I've only got I've only got a minute to go And
27:52
this bit of the dive is always quite nice you you know especially when
27:58
conditions are like this you know you're going to get out of the water and it's going to be absolutely lovely Getting on the lift is going to be really easy Um
28:06
and then you've got a nice gentle boat ride back to uh back to the surface So
28:13
it is all it is all great And there you go There's uh I think that's Steve on his Revo And there you go I have just
28:19
had a look at my computer there You can see uh 121 So that was my total run time
28:25
just over two hours Um and my deco has has cleared You may remember all the way
28:30
back to when I left the bottom that it was forecasting me getting out at the 2hour 10 mark So that's the impact
28:37
obviously of making sure that I ascended at a fairly decent rate and the uh
28:44
accelerating that's obviously allowed me to to kind of get out roundabout Now you
28:49
see Chris has just come up It looks as though one of the other divers think it's James has has finished his deco So
28:55
he's going to beat me to the lift which is good because uh what it does is allows me to chill out You see I can
29:02
watch what's going on I'm I'm really slowly doing that last few meters to get up to the surface There you go There's
29:09
my bag There's the surface You can see uh Barbs She's not the boat there She
29:14
She's come out to to be the crew as she does for a lot of these tamper dives
29:19
You'll see I've got my Kindle there in in that bag She's going to grab it for me get it out of the boat which is
29:24
really nice for her And then I'm going to swim around to the back and watch James get out the water before I do the
29:31
same thing myself There you go He's he's getting out So uh looks as though in fact ah that's uh that's Honey So I've
29:38
forgotten Honey was on this dive She uh she came out to help out as crew She's
29:43
um a really good diver herself She's in fact I taught her a mod one course
29:49
She works offshore One of the funny things is after this dive we uh we all went to a pub in Yuki to kind of chat
29:55
about what we'd seen And uh the pub refused to serve honey cuz he said she looked too young Um that's obviously you
30:04
know it is funny if you're me probably not as funny if you're her Anyway there we go Look this is coming to the end of
30:10
the dive Another fruitless uh dive in the search for the tamper really kind of
30:16
scary moment down at the bottom there Um and really kind of um
30:23
you know a bad moment for Rick I think but one that actually he coped with really well Shows I think the advantages
30:30
of having a buddy down there Somebody else can help you out Um when things
30:35
like that happen there's probably other things he could have done Maybe you could have cut the cut cut the shot line but that would have ruined the the die
30:41
for everyone else The simple fact is it was great for him to have uh me there We
30:46
solved the problem really quickly and then we got on with the rest of the dive And there he is the man himself just in
30:51
front of me there sorting out his gear There's Chris I'm going to wander around There you go Rick looks very happy He
30:58
lives to fight another day And I'm going to uh going to move around the other side and get myself sat down get all my
31:04
gear off Um look I hope you've enjoyed another one of my videos Hope you found it interesting and useful and I will
31:11
look forward to seeing you on the next one Thank you
