Gladiator 2: A Disappointing Sequel (Documentary)

"Alright y’all, so I just watched Gladiator II, and here’s the deal: it’s got Denzel Washington absolutely stealing the show, Paul Mescal doing his best to carry a recycled revenge plot, and, for some reason, gladiators fighting sharks and baboons like they’re auditioning for Animal Planet: Extreme Edition. The visuals are big, but the CGI feels like it’s trying too hard, and while the action is entertaining, the movie leans too heavily on the original without giving us something fresh. Honestly, cut the baboons, give Denzel his own prequel, and we might’ve had a classic—right now, it’s more of a solid sequel that just misses greatness.
