Today I’m taking you behind the scenes of a real wedding shoot — a Middle Eastern (Syrian) wedding filmed solo in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This isn’t a highlight reel. This is the actual workflow: cameras, audio, tripods, timecode, working with a DJ, coordinating with a photographer, and staying steady when things get loud, chaotic, and unpredictable.
I’m running a Panasonic S5, Panasonic UX180, multiple safety cameras, and a Sound Devices audio bag, capturing everything from prep and first look to a wild grand entrance, toasts, and the end-of-night load out.
If you’re a freelancer, filmmaker, or videographer — especially if you’re trying to fill slow seasons and diversify your work — this video is for you.
