hi Dave Taylor here again and this time
0:05
I'm looking at the STM bags drifter
0:08
that's this backpack and this is really
0:11
cool now why why a backpack it turns out
0:15
that while I actually carry my computer
0:17
in a computer bag like a messenger bag
0:20
my son carries his fairly expensive
0:23
gamer pc in his regular backpack and
0:26
that's really risky because the drop
0:29
that backpack you've just broken the
0:31
laptop so the STM drifter is a really
0:35
interesting backpack so I'm gonna let it
0:37
switch over and let him explain how it
0:40
is how it works and why he likes it so
0:42
much so this is the SCM drifter bag it's
0:51
very cool it fits my laptop almost
0:53
perfectly it's a 15 inch it also has
0:56
space for tablet in here and here it has
1:00
lots of space enough to fit my computer
1:02
charger or a book or anything else you
1:04
wanted to bring such as clothes it's
1:07
very cool has lots of compartments such
1:09
as this this this room for a water
1:14
bottle a little a zippered part where
1:17
nobody actually knows where it is
1:20
another cool feature that this bag has
1:22
is down here it has a rain cover okay
1:27
see are out in the wild with your
1:29
computer how it works is you put this
1:34
side and you tuck it under it under the
1:37
back
1:39
and then it comes forward and it covers
1:43
this so it should look like that so if
1:48
water were to go on to it presumably it
1:50
would just rip off so one of the other
1:58
interesting things that STM bags has
2:00
done with the drifter as they have with
2:02
many of their bags is they have this
2:03
reward for return tag you go on their
2:06
website you register it has a unique
2:09
number and then presumably if someone
2:11
finds the backpack they call the number
2:13
they get a reward you get your backpack
2:15
I gotta say I'm a little skeptical
2:18
especially with backpacks themselves
2:20
because they're pretty much commodities
2:22
so I think that the odds of someone
2:23
finding this really nice computer bag
2:26
and saying oh let me turn it back in
2:30
unfortunately I don't think that's super
2:32
high but I love the concept and I should
2:36
also mention that this drifter is a
2:38
fairly expensive backpack 125 bucks but
2:41
as my son points out there's a lot of
2:44
things to like about this it's a really
2:46
well thought out backpack and 125 bucks
2:49
well the way to think about that I
2:51
suggest is how much would it cost if you
2:53
had to get your broken computer fixed so
2:56
this is dave taylor the STM drifter you
2:59
can get it at STM bags calm and i say as
3:02
my son would say to check it out
3:21
